And what of the fighting styles? Has the MK Team mentioned anything about the character's fighting styles? Will they have style switching move sets, or will they go back to the beginning and actually make people master the characters like the classic games? There are many questions that still remain unanswered, but hopefully more information will be released soon.

Actually, that "error Macro" thing you were reffereing to was actually just a rumor. There was no Error Macro. I was made up by the fans and, because it seemed so plausible, people believed it. The MK Team liked the rumor so much that they put him in UMK3.

Seen it but it was real its an Error ,i dont have a You tube link but if you keep digging deeper you will find that i did happen every now and then. The only part of it being a rumor was that people thought it was another fighter. That was the rumor they used to say "there is another ninja fighter aswell as Reptile but he is Ermac and Red". Ed sayes that only Reptile was the added fighter and "Ermac" was just an error that happened sometimes when selecting scorpion. Keep looking into it mate and you will find out what im talking about ,but it did happen no bull

Now listen here kid you got no idea what you're talking about!! To start with Reptile WAS in MK1 and so was Ermac but it was just an Error. Ermac came from and Error on the MK1 Arcade wheather you like it or not. If you knew what you were talking about you would know this. I think you should go hit you tube and google to reaserch some info on that topic. Let me guess you're going to say you were drunk again? By the comments i get from you i dont even think you're old enough to drink anyway!

yeah now i looked into it and i cant deny that reptile isnt in mk1
still ermac i never seen it but i have seen it on emulator with colour codes again¨
i jjust thought that since reptile is named scorpion i thought it didnt count but i was wrong okay
still when i see ermac in MK1 i will belive you
and for that matter im not drunk
however i have a banging hangover but that is off topic so lets go back to the orginal shall we

I've always believe that Error story. Made perfect sense in my head. Although the idea that the MK Team just heard romurs and though "Are you pondering what I'm pondering, Pinky?" sounds too convincing not to be true. It just sounds like exactly the kinda thing they'd do. I must research it...

Ok buddy now go and look at the video again and listen to what Ed sayes ,its the same thing iv been sayen for the past 3 or so posts. Make sure to look into it a little deeper becouse the 3 sec part of Ed is from another interview that you hear the whole story. That part where Ed was explaining was cut from another tape. Yes its called a rumor but is a problem that can happen to all arcades ,MK1 was just know to do it more often. Sometimes scorpions colour pallet would srew up and change red and Ermac would come up in the players name insted of scorpion. It was an error called ERROR MACRO is nothing new and can happen on any Arcade but with different effects ,becouse the game is different. When you die and select scorpion it will be normal again ,so simple but yet people just dont understand. Go on google please everyone that doesnt know have a look you will find the MK1 error and many other ERROR MACRO topics. It used to happen but the rumor part is that people thought it was an added fighter.
Now to make it simple for the newbies to this sorta thing:Macro is commonly known as the prefix in the word macroscopic,
What is a Macro? (computer science),well a Macro a set of instructions that is represented in an abbreviated format. Error? well everyone knows that ,so put the two together you have yourself a diagnosis code of :ERMAC. Anyone in computer programing herd you say anything about Ermac but they no nothing about the game would thing your talking about an ERROR MACRO. Look into it the info's out there before you say im posting lies becouse im clearly not. Thanks

More info :In the first few arcade versions of Mortal Kombat, there was a listing in the audit menu for "ERMACS". In Revision 3.0 it was actually listed directly underneath "Reptile Battles" giving the appearance that they were grouped together. It was believed to reference a character the same way "Reptile Battles" does which led people to believe that Ermac was also a secret character. The Ermac listing is a shortening of the term "Error Macro". This is referenced in a hidden reversed message in Mortal Kombat: Deception's Konquest mode which states "It is a little known fact that Ermac is short for Error Macro". Electronic Gaming Monthly published a photo to accompany a letter from Tony Casey reporting an alleged encounter. However, Ermac did not appear in any version. There is also no naturally occurring default character palette that would provide a full pallette swap for Ermac.
The MK crew denied that he existed in Mortal Kombat II with one of the jumbled messages that appeared at the bottom of the screen after beating the game: CEAMR ODSE NTO EXITS (an anagram of "Ermac does not exist"), and the occasional appearance of the secret character Jade with the message "Ermac Who?" The numerous rumors of his existence led to his debut as an official character in Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3. His storyline is even based off his own rumor as well and later changed to become a legit character in Mortal Kombat Trilogy. Until Mortal Kombat: Deception, he was just another palette swapped ninja. Around the time of Mortal Kombat: Deadly Alliance, the creators made the choice to give all the ninjas their own look and identity.
Rumors: Ermac was created by the MK Team because of fan mythology. It was said that by overplaying the Sega version of Mortal Kombat with Scorpion, the screen would eventually flaw and flash an alert message on the screen. The message read "Error Macro" and it would turn Scorpion's yellow outfit red. This was proven to be completely false. However, the MK Team, having a good sense of humor, thought it would be a nice treat to the fans to include Ermac in Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3. This actually refreshed some of the speculations regarding this rumor. But, as fans know, the MK Team is known for throwing fans off to add mystery to their games. Thats the only part that is a rumor

Im just glad to see reptile back in...I think his costume looks awesome too best one since sholin mokns....I personally like the ninja style reptile with his face and skin non-human....i hope the other pallet swap ninjas are in too to me they made the old mk games
