Ok, I'm not talking about the end bosses, rather the sub bosses, who kicks so much more ass, than any other characters in the Mortal Kombat.
Goro in MK1 was pretty tough at first. He got some pretty tough punches, that you don't want to suck in. Once you realize how to defeat him however, he is just mediocore difficult. We got tougher situations. The MK4 version of Goro is sooo easy.
Talking about tougher, Kintaro is a boss I couldn't ever beat in MK2 PC version. No matter where you set the difficulty level in the options, the last 2 boss will have a constant difficulty that cannot be changed. Shao Kahn is however a pushover next to Kintaro. Kintaro does this annoying counter-throw, that is good against almost everything. He defends him well, and has superior close and ranged attacks. One attack, and you lose 25% of your health.
Ok, the last one I want to mention is Moloch. That thing in MKDA hits hard, doesn't have a fix strategy, and defends always when you don't want him to do. So far I could only defeat him with combos from Kano's and Scorpion's weapon. I have to say, that the 3D walk is not my kind of thing, I don't know how much that help against him.
So yeah, I would say [b]Kintaro[/b] is your worst MK nightmare from MK2. If you defeated him with no cheat whatsoever, give yourself a pat on your shoulder, you deserve it.

I have to agree, Kintaro is a bitch to fight. For me, Motaro in UMK3 is pretty cheap too. For an honorable mention, Noob-Smoke in Deception could techinically be a sub-boss, and is cheap for it.

Ok, after defeating Moloch a few times... once with Scorpion, and Kenshi, and Johnny, and Kano again... I think he isn't that dangerous. Just need to defend, wait for the big swing, and do a combo. Do a combo if he is too close too.
But Kintaro is still near impossible to beat.

I have to disagree. I havn't played the PC version to be sure but Kintaro is easy in MK II once you find out his weaknesses. A Double Flawless kan be gained if you play right.

For me I'd say Motaro in Mortal Kombat 3. There were a lot of expletives about Motaro thrown around in my house back then.

After finally beating Kintaro, I have to agree with razer that once you know his moves, you can easily block/dodge them, and kick his has. Motaro is similar, but he is still a cheap fucker.

Same here I learnt all my swearwords from my Dad when MK3 was out he really dispised Motaro

I'm going on a limb and nominating Motaro as the toughest sub boss in the MK series. However, if you can corner him and don't get too close, you can continue kombos on him until defeated. Unfortunately, I don't have the video, but I did a kombo that was over 30 hits in MK Trilogy. Kintaro was easy to defeat no matter what system you fought him on. Here's a free tip for anyone who can't defeat him: jump kicks. With enough distance created between you two, the jump kick always works, and if you're playing with Sub-Zero or Reptile in MK II, add in a Ninja Slide, and you will easily have a Double Flawless victory. Kahn was a pushover in any of the MK games. He is a difficult opponent at first in MK 3, UMK 3 and MK Trilogy if you didn't know what to do, but I found my strategy easily enough with Scorpion. Uppercutting when he went airborne with a knee, teleport punch, spear, then kombo and repeat. It didn't get you a double flawless, but it got you the win. Moloch was a piece of cake, especially when you're using mastered characters. I myself always found it easy to defeat him with Scorpion's Ninja Sword, and Shang Tsung's second style change kombo. Believe me, it saves you a ton of time and frustration.

I think Montaro and Goro are real easy but Kintaro is a joke on MK2 anyway he gets heaps of cheap wins.
Shao Kahn takes a while to work him out but once you know hes not that much of a problem.
