My one sister still prefers playing as him in MK Trilogy she's just hoping for a costume change.

I don't care if his costume changes or if he remains the same. If he plays the same way he did in MK3/UMK/MKT, then he's gonna be fun to play as.

It wasn't just his costume that bothered me, it was the character in general. Sure he could be a bit of fun to jam with, but I hated his guts. There was just something about him that pissed me off. It's hard to play as a fighter if you don't actually like the character, regardless of how good/ bad he played.

There are a few MK characters that give me this problem, but Styrker is always the first on that comes to mind. Probably because he was the first one that I hated. Up untill his appearance in MK3, I loved all the cast.

Unless Stryker is exactly how he was in MK3/UMK3 you Stryker fans are gonna regret your decision. Any of you at all like playing him in Armageddon? Character sucks, design sucks. Only reason I kould give him any kredit would be because his name was one of the originals planned to be used back in the days before MK. And thats it.

Stryker is Armageddon wasn't ENTIRELY bad.
Yeah his costume(s) sucked, and he does NOT seem like the guy who knows Hua Chuan, but his Nightsticks Weapon Style is very reminiscent of Jax's Tonfa style, if not a complete clone of the style, and it's very good actually.
His special moves are classics, and some being new and actually pretty useful at times. Of course if I do see Stryker in MK 2011, I don't want to see his MKA costumes again.

Stryker stood out alot in MK3. I mean ALOT.
He was the average joe of the MK3 roster, but that is simply by appearances. If you actually play as him, he's far from average, as he is actually one of the stronger characters in the game. Average looking, but a top notch fighter.

Exactly, I don't see why most people don't like him. Many people don't like the way he looks but I really liked how he looked in MK3. I wasn't much of a fan of the way he looked in Armageddon though.

Stryker had some insane combo's in MK3/MKT he just takes a while to work out. Also his finishing moves were good too its becouse he was a cop that so many people didn't like him, i think anyway.
