He's got strong combos, great special attacks, one is a great anti-air attack, and in UMK3/MKT, he gets his gun which makes his combos an absolute NIGHTMARE for anyone hit by one.

Kome on man yeah hes lethal in the hands of an expert but guns in MK ain't kool never liked em. Don't like the way Jax uses em. Styker is still a poor "kharacter" in the terms of plot etc. Send him packing.

Ok, so Stryker doesn't have supernatural abilities like everyone else. Is that any reason to say he's not welcome? I mean, out of all people Raiden chose to spare to be a defender of Earthrealm, he chose Stryker. Raiden knew Stryker didn't have powers like the others, and he also knew he didn't have much knowledge of martial arts, but Raiden sensed great potential in him. Yes, in a way, I do agree that guns are a bit of a misfit in MK, but Stryker was the first to use guns, so he was a totally new and original character. Jax with guns never shoulda happened, and it shoulda just stayed with Stryker, as the gun was his thing. Jax can launch waves of energy, and freakin shoot rockets out of his fists. Why the hell does he need guns for?! Point is, the gun is Stryker's namesake. Rest assured, I don't care if Stryker doesn't make it in. I just think that any classic characters of the original trilogy should have a fair chance at making it in. Voted out? Fine. Voted in? Fine.
MK9 could be the next MKT that we were hoping for, as MKA didn't deliver.

I see where your koming from but I still stand by Stryker getting retired.
The thought of the likes of Kabal loosing a spot because of Stryker is freaking me out.
Let him be DLC if some fans want him that much.

Stryker being a downloadable character is a great idea.
I think that if they're gonna bring back Stryker, bring him back the way he was meant to be. When they tried to make Stryker look "kool", that only made people hate him even more.

Hopefully Jax will remain gunless in this game, just as he was in MK2 and UMK3. If Stryker does make it into the game, fine, but there better be other characters taking priority in the roster, like Kabal, Sheeva and/or Sindel.

Right. Alot of characters I will admit are alot better than Stryker, and should be much higher priority for entry, but if there's any space left over for Stryker, then put em in there.

If guns are going to be a mainstay in MK games, then at they should at least be used with a touch of class instead off simply unloading a clip into the opponent. This scene should show what I mean:

Personally, I never really like the idea of guns being in MK games (although the first time I saw Jax packing heat, I thought it was hilarious).

I'd forget he was ever a riot cop.
Stryker should be the ONLY character to use guns. The guns are his namesake. It's what separates him from the other MK characters.

I defo think if they gave Stryker some style with his guns, people would be a lot tamer towards him. If they're going to make him stand out from the crowd, then make him stand out for a good reason.
