Just in case you don't know, Mortal Kombat is featured in the newest issue of GI. While the aticle itself is pretty boring and NOTHING new is mentioned, there are a .bout six new screenshots. While these also reveal nothing new, one of them has a much better picture of that lady in blue chained up in Kahn's Kolluseum that we all are calling "Kitana" as well as there is an obscured reveal of The Tormentor from the background. You can't see all of him, but you can see a fair amount of his body and such. So, if you don't have it, don't buy it. But if you see it somewhere at least flip to pages 68 and 69 in the store.

Hmmmm....so I take it it isn't Kitana chained. Oh well. Can't wait to see any screenshts they release of The Tormentor.

Ok, I hate to sound like a total noob, but who/ what is the Tormentor? I've never heard that name in MK before.

From what I've heard in the forums here, The Tormentor will be some character in Mortal Kombat. I don't know if he'll be a character, or a background character, but I'm guessing it'll be the latter.

The Tormentor is a new addition to the arena Kahn;s Kolluseum. It's a huge beast that drudges around the background while guards are trying to restrain him with chains. If you look at the end of the reveal trailer, you'll notice that the crowd is throwing chunks of meat into the arena. This attracts the Tormenter who rushes back and fortch to eat it and the guards try to stop him. I can only assume this will lead to a pretty kickass stage fatality or nice tag team loss fatality.

Hmmm...didn't really see any meat being thrown around in the trailer. Guess I'll have to wait for pics and footage.

Flicking through Xbox 360 gamer mag MK is mentioned as being an interesting reboot of the Series and probably will be better than MKvsDC. No new pics or info though.

My Gameinformer came in about a week ago. Chances are you'll have heard all off the info in it already but i was still happen reading the article. I dont know if you guys are like me but i like looking at screenshots and trying to pick out many of little details especially for the damage that happens during fights on this game. I think the most noticeable is the huge gash on Sub-Zeros leg on the screenshot of him being punched by Scorpion.

Yeah, that and the flap of skin on Kung Lao's chin while Sektor shoots something at him. VERY NICE!

All these details on the in-game battle damage is awesome. So much work has definitely gone into this game.
