One of the biggest disappointments to Mortal Kombat: Armageddon was that they did not include a single character biography in the game. Considering many of the characters present had not been seen in ages, and others were mentioned as killed either in previous character bios or in the Konquest mode from MKDA. The lack of bios seemed to be fixed when the MKTeam started posting bios on the MK:AR website, only for them to stop after releasing only a few.
I mentioned a while ago that I had planned to make a free MK encyclopedia. I got side-trakced with other projects however and never got around to it. I am still considering making it, but one of my biggest challenges is filling in the missing gaps for characters that appeared in MK:AR that had been absent for a long time or were said to have died.
Basically, the point of this thread is for you to submit your own fan ideas about what happened to certain characters between their last appearance and their appearance in MK:AR. The Konquest Mode of that game informs us of some of their whereabouts during that game, but what about before that?

I would be honored to put my speculation in for MK:Ar. This is my speculation for Scorpion.
After Onaga's slight defeat, Scorpion went back to the Elder Gods to seek the other half of their agreement, which was resurrecting the Shyrai-Ryu. The Elder Gods only repaid half of that by giving him an undead clan of warriors. Angered by what he saw, Scorpion decided to exact his revenge on the Elder Gods by killing the two sons of Argus and Delia. Fooling Shao Kahn into taking him in as an ally, he used Kahn's spies to track down the two. Kahn's spies eventually told him of where Taven and Daegon were headed. So, using the portal in Kahn's throne room, Scorpion awaited Taven's arrival in Edenia. When Taven arrived, Scorpion told him of what the Elder Gods had done, and that he would have his revenge by killing him and his brother Daegon. The undead clan attacked Taven, but he succeeded in getting through until meeting up with the grandmaster Scorpion. He took them immediately to Scorpion's Lair where they engaged in Kombat. Upon his defeat, Scorpion met up with the forces of darkness near the summit of the pyramid and informed them all of where the two sons were and what exactly was at stake: power beyond their wildest dreams.
