Played quite a bit of UMK3 lately on my Sega Genesis. I plan to play through the entire Konquest Mode of MKD since I am trying to determine certain canon information for a project I'm working on... *shifty eyes*

I hate to admit it, but MK vs DC. I need a next gen MK somehow. I actually finished all the Kombo challenges........ ALL OF THEM! I feel so dirty.

I currently don't have MK vs DC but i want to get it just to have it. I've played it and it was okay. I liked how you were able to put certain special moves together like Sub-Zeros slide and teleport. It just didn't feel like Mortal Kombat for VERy obvious reasons.
Probably will get it.

Unfortunately since you brought THAT up my sisters and I have found the game and stated replaying it. The Lin Kuei storyline still pisses me off.
Regardless MKT has been dusted off and I've played it on and off and just found Shaolin Monks (while in process of clearing room for decorating) so thinking of playing that as well. However my one sister found MK4 and she's demanding a rematch I have no idea what to tackle first. Poor me

Aren't you the MK beast. Raiden and Kano are still left for me, with Baraka probably being the easiest with one left (his last one).

I'm playing it for the fighting engine...
But now that you said that.. HOW DID YOU GET JOKER COMBO 9 TO WORK?!
I do it perfectly and as fast as possible, but they hit the ground before the second bomb explodes.

You make it sound like a bad thing.  The story of MK3/UMK3/MKT is probably my favourite of the MK games so far.

I'll probably break out MKT for my Sega Saturn soon enough. My only qualm with it is the terrible loading times. I pretty much have to disable Shang Tsung's character morph ability or it lags the game for several seconds per morph. I also would like to break out MKSM, but I can't seem to find my original XBox anywhere, and sadly it's not backwards compatible with the XBox 360. Lastly, Mortal Kombat Gold is so much better than MK4, you should get it.
