I was just rewatching the Gamespot E3 Stage Demo and I was kind of curious about the specialk meter. It seems to fluxuate... a lot. Now, this could JUST be for demo purposes, but (especially during the Reptile and Sektor fight) it litterally seems to just fill and empty randomly. I hope it doesn't do this in the final build. I also kinda hope it doesn't fill up as fast as it seems to in the other demos I've seen. I seems like you can have enough to do 2 xrays in one ROUND. That would ruin eeverything. Again, it could just be for demo purposes, but, if not, that would be kinda awful.

Thoughts?

i was thinking the same thing wen i seen the bar. i also figured that it was just the build for two reasons, one being tht mabyit was too show all segmants of the bar quickly and 2 maby they just did a fast version of it so they could squeez it in too the build and i seen an interveiw with ed boon saying tht u could only do the x ray move once and i believ hector sanchez may have said it too, but i could be rong.either way thoo i think it will build up slower in the final version of the game.

I noticed aswell and think they might bite off more then they can chew. It could turn a good game into shit. Also i bloody hate the Rage meter on the Mk vs Dc they better scrap that idea Twisted Evil

i dont think thell have the rage bar because it was mainly just an excuse for good superheros to have a fatality or heroic brutality cause in some they actuly did die, of course not brutaly but watever and also it was for story. so i dont think theyl have it and i didnt rlly like it either.And even if the super bar gos up fast it will still be a good game

From what I recall the meter generates up whenever you do damage to your opponent, and drains whenever you use a special power or the x-ray mode attack function. They probably have some bugs to work out with it still and hopefully it works smoothly in the final release.

No no, I'm aware of all that. I'm sure it SHOULD work very similiar to the RAGE meter. I mean, if you watch the stage demo, you'll notice that the entire bar may fill up when a character stands up or does a tiny combo.

Yeah which is why I mentioned it probably has some bugs in it. I also noticed it seemed to charge up at odd times, but maybe they set it up that way do they could use the meter when they wanted to at the demo.

I think it was just set up that way for the demo. I wouldn't know for sure but i did hear quite a few people say it was just that way for the demo
