Plus anyone in Washington on September 3-5 for the PAX 2010 apparantly a playable version of the game will be available there

also Jade's Desert is animated a sandstorm builds as the battle progresses and it looks like there will be humour included with the possibility of "Toasty" though probably no Friendships, Animalities or Babalities (though I wouldn't be suprised if this may become DLC or a possible secret)
The majority of the characters will be available for selection initially, with the exception of the bosses, which are planned playable. Plus Эд Бун (Ed Boon) wants to continue the mythology series though no plans at the moment.

- основная часть персонажей MK9 будет доступна для выбора изначально, за исключением боссов, которые планируются играбельными;
- добиваний Animality, Babality и Friendship в игре скорее всего не будет, но юмор в том или иной мере может присутствовать, например, "Toasty!";
- решение о создании коллекционной версии игры ещё не обсуждалось разработчиками;
- Эд Бун имеет желание продолжить серию Mythologies, последним проектом которой была MK:Shaolin Monks, но в данный момент никаких конкретных планов нет.

The Jade's Desert level sounds pretty awesome, I wonder if the sand storm will affect the fight at all or if it'll just be a visual thing.
I hope they do continue the MK Mythologies series. Although MKSM wasn't technically one of them if they make the next MK Mythologies game closer to that I think it would do really well. Hopefully the next one will focus on a character native to a realm other than Earthrealm.

I'm loving Kitana's look in this game. Nice to see her masked, and with her hair down. Personally, I think this is the first time she's really looked like a babe since MKII.
Cyrax's new look, on the other hand, I'm hating. He looks more like Bumbebee from Transformers than Cyrax from MK3. Very disappointed with this.
As always, though, I'm hugely impressed with the amount of detail in these pics. Some real time and effort is going into the making of this game, and that's exactly what wee MK deserve.
