There's a lot of rumor and positive support toward WB releasing an HD remake of MK1, MK2, and UMK3 on one disk with a demo of MK 2011 in late November.
As of right now, it's being called a PS3 exclusive.
WB has been capturing NEW actors to portray the characters and the game will be built like the old ones.
Netherealm Studios will NOT be aking this as they are busy with MK 2011. It is rumored that Backbone is doing the work (They did SF 2 Turbo blah blah blah)
Thought I'd throw thta in there because there's a LOT of confirmation going around. _________________

Not sure if I like the idea of another company at the helm. Also not too pushed on the idea of new actors playing the parts... Yet, I'm intrigued by the concept of early MK games getting remade. _________________ Brutal honesty will be shown on this screen!

This is looking very promising. Just hope that the new actors are made to look very similar to how the characters originally looked like in the respective games.

Oooooh, I hate TRMK!
Really hoping this ain't PS3 only. I'd be sickened if I missed out, just because I own an Xbox instead.
So, since whatever number of stores momentarily had this on their lists, I guess we can take it for granted that all three games will appear on a disc (checks spelling, lol), as opposed to the way Street Fighter HD Remix was downloadable. _________________ Brutal honesty will be shown on this screen!

It would be nice as a disc only game compilation. Hopefully it won't have too much of an install space if it needs one.

It could be interesting it they got actors that performed the moves like the originals and the costumes were pretty much identical to the originals (maybe with the exception of some of the ninja-clone costumes from UMK3). I'm not entirely sure what the point of it is considering with MK8 we're already basically getting the first three MK arcade games released in HD. I'm also sort of iffy about it not being handled by Netherrealm Studios. Some more concrete information about this would be good. It could just be one giant rumour. _________________
