Disturbed are --!#$@-- though man lol its MK, if they had to add any music to it, it should have been more brutal sounding. Morbid Angel, Obituary, Deicide etc something like that would be quality, even new Soulfly would be good.
anyway, regards less I hope that song isnt in game, it will really water it down |
i really doubt the songs gonna be in mk9 maybe in the credits but not in anything else

I think it’s an awesome track…used well in context, but something epic and more MK would have been better. Like the Intro music to MK2 just spiced up (maybe a bit heavier). I like the style of the vid though. The suggestive shadows actually say a lot about how well recognized the characters are.

I've been thinking about this lately, and the more I think about it, the more I think that this track makes perfect sense. As I've already stated I think the lyrics really suit, when taken out of our world and placed around MK's world instead. But it's the media side of it that's really got me thinking. Mk has been in a state of limbo for quite some time now. Don't get me wrong, I've loved the latest installments, but most gamers think that Kombat has had it's day and is dead and gone. The Team obviously want to make a huge impact on the gaming world with this one. Reach out to those who don't know MK, and those who gave up on it. The gameplay is standing for itself, but how better to get the attention of the general passersby than by putting a song from a hit record over your trailer? Disturbed are quite a big band these day, and the latest record has probably sold a bajillion copies or some shit. So when someone is ain't too keen on MK stumbles across this trailer, their ears will prick up and go "Is that disturbed? Cool!" Before you could say Fatality, they'll be checking all things Kombat to find out more.
Then again. I could be wrong...
