So what do you guys think about the game ( to the ones who played the demo ) ... i personally think the game is the best ... BUT ... there is a huge Problem that the mk team needs to fix ASAP or this game wont be playable at all ...
its that johnny cage has the ability to win the match by just bashing the triangle button ....
no matter how much you try ... you CANNOT escape the cheap sequence punching .... The breaker works randomly during the bashing and sometimes it wont !! ....
Lets Hope the MK Team Fix This problem ...

Haven't played the demo yet (gonna download it tonight when PSN updates). I'm sure they can patch Johnny Cage to not be broken. I'll see what I can pick out once I play it.

Despite there being only a month left for Mortal Kombat's release, there is still a lot of work to be done. Honestly, I think the game is great, but it still appears that it needs its finishing touches. I was impressed with the details, graphics, and combos, fatalities were good, and so were the X-Ray moves. I demo'd each of the 4 characters in the game, and I enjoyed Scorpion and Mileena the most. Scorpion's "Scorpion Sting" was the greatest of the X-Rays, and his "Split Decision" fatality was especially gruesome. I just hope that when the final product comes out, each warrior has two finishing moves. That's saying they have the time to fit in two for each warrior. Once the final product is complete, I will work on posting some of my gameplay for all to see!  _________________ Highest Kreate-A-Fatality: 11 (Ultimate Fatality)

Wasn't it posted that each character would have a maximum of 4? Thats what I thinkg I have seen but don't count me on it.
I think the demo is awesome, a few little things could be fixed like Mileenas face bite animation. If she jumps far out and lands the attack, she randomly appears up to her opponements face.
Nothing to do with the demo, but I'v seen on another forum that XBOX 360 will be getting some sort of a exclusive, anyone eles herd of this?

Now, when you say 4, are you referring to their fatalities? If so, then here's what I heard, as far as fatalities go, I think each character was supposed to get 2 fatalities and an X-Ray move, though I'll have to check on gamestop or ign to be sure. _________________ Highest Kreate-A-Fatality: 11 (Ultimate Fatality)

I'm loving this Demo right now and I will admit that if the purpose of this release was to get me to sit and cry in the corner like a scolded hyperactive hobbit who has just been denied entry to Willy Wonkas chocolate factory after having a small taste of a scrumdidliumshis bar then it worked. The only thing that was really bugging me about the demo was the menu...looks like a bit of a slap dash flash animation and I'm really hoping its just one of those things they quickly threw together for the purpose of the demo. where art thou April 19...these days are going by so Fu*$en slowly.  _________________

well im basicly all over youtube and mk fansites and i subscribe to the best mk channels and press the button tht makes it email me when they make new vids and my emails go directly to my phone so im always on top of that, but its not relly one thing its a lot of sources, i used to post alot of the stuff i saw but the forum was recently empty alot and some times before, but i relly investigate new mk vids and try to get all the info i can out of interveiws and stuff so thts basicly it. _________________ ~~~~~raydonraidenmk

From what I've read, ign has a spoiler posted for the new MK game. It shows every unlockable that is in the Krypt. If anyone wants to know what is in the Krypt, you can look on ign.com and look at the walkthrough section. As far as Mortal Kombat goes, everyone wish me luck. I only found out there was a demo last night, so got it and had a few goes.
I am a very causal player, even though I have played since MK2 on the Megadrive, so I am not at the level many of you are.
My thoughts are that the demo is brilliant. It is the sequal that MK2 really should have at last. Back to the roots, but with a real focus on the fighting mechanics (sounds obvious, but has gone missing in some MK games).
I had a few games as Johnny Cage and after a few goes could complete on the hardest setting without losing a round, though I couldn't seem to do the fatality on the living forest background.
I also had a few games as Sub Zero and found him a little slow and clunky at first because IA rarely falls for ice puddles, but soon found that he has some very measured and powerful strategies and combos.
Overall, I love the look and feel of it and like the idea of unlocking fatalities..
One thing I do miss and think we will never get back to is the "secrets" we used to have in the MK1 and MK2 days. As everything is all over the internet there are not really and secret characters anymore.......I used to love trying to do stuff in case there was some secret reward...but times have changed

One easter egg that they did put into the demo, which I was pumped to see when I did see it once so far, was they still had the "TOASTY!" sound, plus an updated photo of Dan Forden popping up on screen. It was awesome! XD
