Ok, first of all, I know that my title is kind of a rip off of Total's MK Shaolin Monks topic several years ago, but I just thought I'd see where everyone was on the Challenge Tower. I myself am already in the 200's and still going strong. BTW, I think everyone will enjoy the challenge titled, "Retro Reincarnation". Not giving anything away, but everyone will be in for a surprise.

I haven't gone tower toppling yet, but I will once I've finished the story mode. I'm pretty sure that I am on the last fight of the last chapter, and I would have to say that it is one of the hardest (and cheapest) final boss fights in a fighting game.

So you must be fighting against Shao Kahn as Raiden. There's an easy little trick to that, if you wanna know. Me, I just improved my Challenge Tower status to 270 or 280 something. Can't remember which one I'm on, but the challenges are getting harder. From defeating an army of Shao Kahns to defeating an army of Goros. I wonder what's next?

Well, I just reached challenge #300. WARNING: SPOILER! The good thing is that you have the option of choosing the character you want to do the challenge. The bad thing is having to face a team of Goro, Kintaro, and Mileena while Shao Kahn is constantly giving your opponents upgrades like damage increase and health regeneration, then later giving you a reduction in damage and taking away your ability to block. This is done at random points during the fight, so prepare yourself, and do so well. Your reward is 10,000 koins.

Im at 157 but ive been getting endings too, ill probly finish by the end of next week, i dont want to beat it to quick thoo cause i like the feeling of making progress and i dont want it to end.

Challenge 300 will take quite a bit of skill, and I would recommend continuing with the Challenge Tower. Since there is no character counter, there is no certain amount of characters you have to fight, I only know of 3. I've come close to beating Mileena with Scorpion on a couple of occasions, bringing her to less than a quarter of her health, near the danger area, but Mileena keeps kicking my ass. *light bulb turns on* What I need to do, is get her health down to about half, spear her, then use my X Ray move. If I can successfully do that, I will have defeated the Challenge Tower! Anyone who needs help with the challenges, do not hesitate to post your status, the situation you're in, and I will guide you through it.

Well, I spent a couple days tower toppling, and I'm a little past 250. I haven't payed any off (wasting koins goes to the krypt). I did notice that the challenge where you play as Sub Zero and have to fight Scorpion, where when your arms come off if you go below 50% health, the game can freeze up. It happened to me twice when I got Scorpion below 50%. I did, however, find a bit of a way around it. Then next couple times, when someone was losing their arms, I was pausing the game during the slowdown (which I thought was the causing of the freezing). Worked for me, but I had lost my arms first, so I don't know if that had anything to do with it.

ive already beaten challenge tower it was fun but uh i dunno if this would count as giving away the reward or not but ill warn u anyway...SPOILER ALERT!!!! i dont think the reward was worth it i mean netherrealm studios was talking bout it like it was godly and yet it hardly was anything at all i dunno i had fun playing challenge tower though 300 wasnt hard for me as rock your world challenge was i skipped it but i came back to it 2 days later i found a way to pass it and now i can say i beat every challenge on tower now.only 1 i skipped to.anyway i found the challenges fun not much of a challenge for me at all though of course who didnt have hold ups on certain 1s but the 1s i found the most annoying for me was the 1s were u have to tilt the arena 2 damage ur opponent GOD the last 1 was bullshit!

The biggest reward, my friend, is the fact that you have honed your fighting skills. The unlocking of Mileena's third alternate costume is just a bonus, along with 10,000 koins. I myself have found quite an improvement in my skill since I did all the challenges. It taught me how to deal with certain kinds of situations. I have found several situations in Arcade mode where I've come back from less than 10% of my health to defeat my opponent. Even on opponents as difficult as Kahn.

Well, I beat the tower. No skipping done here. I lol'ed when the trophy popped up for Mileena's 3rd costume: "Best....Alternative....Ever"
I used Sub Zero for the final challenge. Took a few tries to get through Goro and Kintaro the first few times, then working to get past Mileena. A good reward I got was a strategy that I should have learned a while ago, but rediscovered during the final fight: Jump the projectiles and dash in for a combo. Awesome.

Indeed, my friend. Works for Kahn too. I've been able to get up to 7 hits with Stryker. Major damage.

Just a funny little thing, after beating the Tower, I went into the Krypt to start buying stuff, and I was able to buy everything with just the funds I got from the Tower and whatever (if any) I got from Story mode. I even had a little left over. For anyone who has spent quite some time in the Krypt, did "it" happen to you?

man krypt was easy to 100% on atleast for me they need to make a deadly alliance 1 again with a whole bunch of shit in it thatd be taking so much time!but itd be more funner this time around ive got so much dough now its in the 400000 there definetly needs to be more stuff to buy i still was dissapointed with every char except 2 being unlocked from start still good game though but i just miss the 3d days of mk where a whole bunch were locked and u had to play story mode or buy them to get them *sigh*.
and by "it" i take it u mean the tarkatan looking creature thats a screamer in crypt ive came a cross it.nrs be trollin lol i normally hate screamers but i made a little jump when i saw it the first time nothin serious and even if i did shit my pants i wouldnt be hating at all
