..... I played it at an arcade, right? (yesterday) Well I selected this assassin chick (I think she was an assassin, but I dunno 4 sure...) and I beat the game on the first quarters I put in! That game sucks ass! It was waaaaaaaayyyy too easy! MK is definately going to blow (SC3) out of the water. (SC2's boss was the biggest pansy ever.... he was some sort of fire dude and was very eaily disposed of.) I'm not knocking those of you who like the game... it was just too easy. At least for me, my friend couldn't beat it on 12 quarters! But still--why does everybody go on and on about it? I've played about every fighting game there is, and let me tell you, no fighting series is harder than MK. It gets ragged a lot for having a simple system (same basic moves for everybody) and such, but it at least gives a challenge. It took me a few weeks to be MKT..... compared to less than 15 minutes at SC2.
Oh, one thing though, I beat the game with the girl, and she had clothes on, but during her ending, she was naked! I had a lot of geeks drop what they were doing and run over to watch the ending, but it was kinda funny!

I played it too, and I also beat it on my first try with Mitsurugi. But the game was set on easy, and that is why. Now they set the game to hard, and I can't beat it, and I am good in SC. The difficulty level was just set to easy, that is why you beat it so easily.
MK is hard, heh, well damn near impossible to beat. Unless you use sub zero, or scorpion. The regular characters that can't hold their opponent are useless once you are getting to the top.
The computer is too cheap.

I played it too here in shanghai and i think it sux like all previous parts. Better look at Rage of The Dragons or Kof2002

I like it, I think they could have done a lot more with it, but I still think it is a very good game.
You can't really compare it to 2D games because they are so different, it depends on what you like best and are more comfortable with.
KOF is 2D, but is the other game too? I never heard of it.

The naked girl ending has been around for quite some time, like Tekken 2 and DoA3, where the endings for some have not a thing to do at all with their storyline, but the endings are fleshed out instead!

It all depends on what type of player you are. I have trouble beating the game with sub-Zero and Scorpion because they are slower and use stun moves to win. Players like Johnny Cage and especially Liu Kang are fast and can rack up a ton of damage quickly. You can beat all MK games with characters like that, if that is how you plya. I beat MKT with Kang and Cage-- w/o cheating (codes) and w/o auto combos. Not only that, I beat it w/o losing once. It's possible--but only if the character fits your specific title.
Oh, ok. I thought is was on hard, but cool. I liked the graphics, and I just might give it another chance--but it better be harder next time!

I really enjoyed completing the Story mode in Soul Calibur on DC, I'm glad MKDA is getting one now
