Guys, I was just going through the Arcade Ladder with Ermac and recently discovered that Shao Kahn has a fatality! For those of you who want to know what happens, here it is for ya. Kahn grabs you by the throat, lifts you in the air, tosses you as high as he can throw you, summons his hammer, then delivers a strong blow to you, causing your body to explode. I think his second one is where he rips you in half vertically with his bare hands, starting from the middle.

Both of Kahn's fatalities involve his hammer. The only difference is in one of them, he hits you in an upward motion, the other one, he hits you with his hammer going downward. I've witnessed them while losing as Ermac and Sub-Zero. Kintaro and Goro will rip your character to shreds, even though I haven't lost to them yet. My completion of challenge number 300 has honed my skill to where I can defeat Goro and Kintaro on the first try. All the boss vids are on youtube.

i thanked the lord when i found out the bosses have fatalities unlike most mks where they give a pointless finish him even though everyone knos there is never gonna be a fatality.say speaking of bosses am i the only 1 that likes shao kahn being cheap like in the old days or wat cus i noticed peeps keep complaining.
and another speaking of bosses is anyone else having trouble with the ladder master achievement/trophy?

Not really man. Kahn himself is relatively easy, if you've fought him enough. He becomes way too predictable, but for the most part, it's about luck. I've yet to get a flawless victory against him, but as far as the Arcade Ladder master trophy goes, I found it easiest with Scorpion. If you stay far enough away, Kahn will continuously throw arrow projectiles, and his hammer. When he taunts, throw the spear, then do the kombo T+ Triangle, Square, O (Toward +Y, X, B if you own the 360). That's his most damaging kombo, or if you get lucky enough, hit back + Triangle, then spear, then use the listed kombo above. It usually does about 18% damage on a normal opponent. You should have him easily defeated. If you do get close, make sure you time your jump properly because if you guess wrong, you subject yourself to the wrath of Kahn's hammer uppercut. (I've learned from experience, destroyer). Sethiroph, I was wrong about Kahn's fatalities. You were right. Kahn's second one involves a painful way to die by being torn in half with his bare hands.

Yeah destroyer, Shao Kahn is pretty cheap. After many times fighting him in the Story mode and the Challenge Tower, I have started to get the hang of kicking his ass. As for the bosses in general, if they get you with their X-Rays, you're pretty much screwed for that match.

Indeed, my friend. Kahn's X-ray does 52% damage, Kintaro's does 53%. Not sure on Goro's, though. Kahn's X-Ray is easily counterable because he's in the air. A simple jump kick, or well timed uppercut should cancel it out.

so with all u saying uve learned him i take it uve gotten the achievement?
i dunno if im ever gonna get him sumtimes i screw up and i dont even get to him at all damnit argh the cheapness is so overpowering with sum of the characters on ladder!

That's why you need to do Story Mode first, destroyer. One last thing: do not allow yourself to get cornered. That equals a loss.

With the last battle in Story mode, you get a teleport move. Make good use of it.

meh im done with that tough achievement crap i got it that fucker got pwned fo sho! lol anyway i beat story mode last part in only a few trys i dunno why peeps have trouble with that part : / or the part with liu kang vs shao that puzzles me 2 but watever im so glad i got it now tho im gonna be playing ladder for fun now and not for sum damned achievement.
also wat else i find funny is that ever since i got that achievement ive gotten better at shao with his dumb dealy x ray i use to be stupid and try to jump but now i just jump and punch him in the middle of it lol counters him every time i never realised how easily stoppable shao kahns x ray was until now.

Destroyer, that's what I tried to explain to you. I'm glad you found out a way to counter the X-Ray move though. I'm still workin on a strategy to defeat Shang Tsung with a double flawless victory so I can fight classic Jade.

i still want to fight jade on expert its a total loss though if i even try ill just get punched theres no way to get those flawless victories on expert.but im not really sure if it matters becuz she was kicking my ass on beginner lol i still 1 though when i finally remembered that my spear wont work cus projectiles go past her like in old days *facepalm*probly another reason i was really close to losing

I still haven't been able to find and fight Jade yet. I'm considering going the "counter-attack" method. Just waiting for Shang Tsung to attack, like I do with Shao Kahn, then unleash my fury.

i found that a bad method for both getting to reptile and jade hell i just went ape shit on them once they got up everytime lol.i find it the best method for getting to them on beginner since the easiest ai hardly ever blocks just keep rushing at them theyll probly never do a thing
