Hey guys, I just completed the game with Shang Tsung, and having completed his default fatality, I must say that I thought it had to be the dumbest one I've seen. While mildly amusing when you first watch it, I was hoping they would have gone with something a little bit more up his alley. Shang Tsung steals souls, he morphs into other characters (speaking of which, he tends to change characters when you fight him in the Arcade Ladder). I'm trying to figure out how they came up with the idea of having Shang Tsung turn into a terrible version of the Joker. Now, his second fatality, called "Identity Theft", is quite decent. He enters into his victim's body and forces them to pull their own head off. Back on topic, what are your opinions on Netherrealm Studios' selection for Shang Tsung's default fatality?  _________________ Highest Kreate-A-Fatality: 11 (Ultimate Fatality)

When I first tried it in the Fatality Trainer, I actually lol'ed at it. Knowing about the previous dispute they had with the Joker's Gunshot fatality in North America, it made it quite funny for me. The model design is a little iffy though. A traditional Shang Tsung fatality would have been better, for sure, but this was okay.

i think thats wat they were going for funny when they made it.i think i also like how it was cencored and then in this 1 they uncencored and made it more gruesome to kinda like sethiropth said.i dunno bout putting the fatality in another mk but watever.next mortal kombat i doubt shang fans will have anything to fear of this fatality coming back if u didnt like it cus i really dont see how it could be improved _________________ This is where i was born.This is where you will pay!

It really bothers me that they recycled a fatality from a non-MK character who doesn't even have the slightest tie to the franchise beyond being in MK vs DC.
Worst of all, THEY KEPT THE JOKER'S VOICE! WTF, dude!?! _________________ I'm gonna marry Quan Chi some day...

I totally agree, my friend. I just wish they had come up with something more original: perhaps a modern version of him throwing his victim into a pit of spikes he summoned? Much like UMK 3, or MKT. I just hope they come up with something better for him when MK X comes out man. Heck, the end of the Story Mode led up to a sequel. I do hope that they use the Story Mode concept for the next one as well because it really opens up people's eyes to the true story of Mortal Kombat. Totally off topic, but while I was working on mastering Kung Lao, I thought I noticed Sareena fighting Daegon on the Pit. I've noticed Kenshi, Frost and Havik, but I think I also saw Sareena! I also remember seeing Sareena fighting someone on some background. It would be cool for a sequel to go through MK4, and possibly through to MKD.

Well, I think it would be a mistake if they decided to NOT go through with a sequel to MK 9. If they did one that started with MK 4 and went to MK:D, or later, I would be quite thrilled to see what kind of storyline they had planned, that's saying they did a Story Mode for that one as well to expand off the ending from this one.  _________________ Highest Kreate-A-Fatality: 11 (Ultimate Fatality)

I like it ofcoarse it is a great fatality but its nothing new. that could have been something in the tower rather than his defualt. We could of had something new and better as well. i don't blame them for doing so just a shame that is all.
