who actually has the paticence ti sit thereand unlock all 671.......yes that is the confirmed number of koffins in the krypt.....anywayz as i was sayin i dunno about you but i dont have the type of patience to sit there and unlcok em all.....i will get the game, learn the basics and get the cheats to unlock all of the koffins......

This isn't the first I've heard this on a message board. "Who wants to take the time to open up all the koffins." Well, I don't know why everyone thinks that there will be cheats that magically unlock all 676 koffins, but (and I could be wrong obviously) to the best of my knowledge you have to do it all yourself. C'mon everyone, it's called replay value. If a fighting game (or any game for that matter) is great, then you will play it a lot for a long time, but when you have something as awesome as this to spur you on, well, that's more than just icing on the cake. Anyone here ever play Soul Calibur? I had a blast unlocking everything in that game and it took me about two weeks at least. This might take longer (possibly) and I'm all up for it. I don't want everything the game has to offer from the onset. Unlike most people, I like that you only start with 12 characters and 9 (or was it 7?) backgrounds. Unless I can convince my friends that MK is back and better than ever (which I hope to!!! Oh, my girlfriend will probably dig it too, she loved the first one and kicks ass at Dead or Alive 3), then I'll probably be playing this by myself anyways. That kind of incentive to keep playing, especially when a game rocks, is one of the main reasons why so many people loved Soul Calibur and VF4.
So yes, I have the patience for unlocking all of the cool goodies that the game will have, but NO I can't wait three more weeks dammit!!! HURRY UP AND RELEASE THE DAMN GAME ALREADY!!!!!!!!!

Poor people in Europe will have at least 5 more weeks for MKDA as I have seen a "December the 6th" release date in some article.  So, you're still lucky.
As for koffins, I'm readily willing to open them all, one by one and enjoy it every time I open a new one. I'm willing to sit there and keep on planning "With this amount of koins, should I open these two, or these three ... or maybe just that insanely expensive one?" ... It's a great idea, and it will give a lot of value to the game. I love the mini games for the same reason. If you use a cheat (provided there will be one), you'll just put a big fat red cross over this part of the game, thus harming your own experience. I will definitely be opening them one by one. The only exception would be if the game turns out to be bad (hypothetically speaking), then of course I'm not torturing myself for hours to get the koins ...

Sweet, thats a great idea by Midway I don't know why you would wanna ruin that part of the game. I'm SOOO looking forward to this game, just wished more of my friends weren't so biased against this game, oh well.

I've been threatening to kick the crap out of people I know if they don't get the game. Oh course, they and i all know we're only joking. I've honestly sold about 20 copies of the game for Midway. My friends are totally hooked from all the stuff I've shown 'em!

Nothing to do with patience, I'll enjoy the experience, just like I did earning all the WWFcash in No Mercy to buy everything in the Smackdown! Mall.
It's a brilliant feature, and BTW it's 676 Koffins, 26X26 grid and all.
