Why does every1 think that! But, I just replayed MKM and remembered that you can fight Scorpion twice, and that changed my opinion.

I read on many places-
Scorpion escapes his prison in Netherealm in order to seek revenge on Quan Chi for murdering his family.
Actually, I'm sorry. They SHOULD be the same. But they aren't. From an official handbook, it states
Scorpion was in Earth's Hell, and...
This proves he isn't from Netherealm.
In Netherealm, you get BANISHED.
In hell, your soul goes there when you were a bad person in life.
But I think they changed it because Scorpion does escape Netherealm to get revenge on Quan Chi in MKDA.
