Is it true that they took away the uppercut...?
And also Raidens torpedo and Reptiles ability to turn invisible...?

Took away the uppercut? The game is NOT based on a single move scheme anymore. Everyone has a different set of moves in three different fighting styles. Some martial arts styles involve an uppercut, so therefore, some will have the uppercut, but nothing as extreme as the previous MKs have been. I believe Raiden and a few others uppercut.
As far as Raiden's moves, the only old move he kept was his lightning bolt. He's never been able to become invisible (only Reptile used to). If you're speaking of his teleport however, he no longer does that along with the "Superman" torpedo move. His moves now consist of a the lightning bolt I mentioned already, an electric shoulder charge (that sends you shocking across the screen never losing your balance), and a one handed grab move (picks you up, electricute you, then smashes you across the screen with his free hand)

Yes, they did. at first I was pissed, esecially towards the lack of Cage's low blow. but then i saw that the moves they took out interfered with the game and hindered it, so they actually made a better game by not staying true to certain characters. It's a change, but a good one.
