When Johnny Cage rips Reptile's brain out it is green.
When Cage rips Cyrax's out, it is black.
It is extremely easy to combo for a lot of damage with Scorpion, taking away a lot of the fun of playing with him. (which you might like, too. who knows?)
Sonya is nearly unstoppable in Tae Kwon do if used by someone who knows what they are doing.
Dan Forden sometimes yells things in the mini games Test Your Might and Test Your sight.
When a character is frozen with a weapon imaled in them, they still lose health. (Damn it.)
In the Krypt, you will sometimes unlock things from the "MK shopping channel" that certain characters sell. I will give ne example, because it's obvious--you see a "Cage Pack," which tells you that you can own 4 of "Cage's greatest hits." These are extremely amusing. You also get different images telling what each character does when not working. (Like, Cage wouldn't be acting--something diferent.)
5 Fan art images can be unlocked, and they are quite pricey.
MK Comic panels can be unlocked.
When fighting as Raiden against cage in Konquest, at one point it says, "Johnny Cage is not afraid to die." (That was from the MK soundtrack, it was Cage's theme.) Other things like this include playing as Kano and being to to hit his opponent "in the Pesina." (Carlos Pesina, anyone?) or "Vogel him good." (John Vogel.)
Some of the characters die in there own endings, including a popular character.
At one point, you will see a movie poster that looks like the first Star Wars poster, but it will be altered with MK characters. (I want it on my wall!) I can't tell you any more abut that, though.
Even the characters I hated in the past are looking sweet!
In the MK Unseen video, one guy is working on Shang tsung's fatality, but Johnny Cage is the one performing it. WTF?!?!?
The game was originally going to be called Mortal Kombat: Vengeance. They even experimeted with putting characters on the cover. you can unlock these covers in the Krypt. Cage, Reptile, Scorpion, and others were all considered to be coverboys for the game.
There was only going to be 4 Earth heros besides raiden early on. This is evident when you unlock the story board for the opening movie in the Krypt. (I think they were Sonya, Cage, Kung Lao and Sub-Zero, and that Jax and Frost weren't there.) I may even be wrong about them, but i don't think so.
The game is the best of the year!
There are many cool things, I've only scratched the surface. but do yourself a favor and pull off Cage's fatality (even if you don't like him) on those two characters, because it's really worth seeing!
