Post subject: Who has it 4 the Game Cube? |

I was wondern' if n-e one that has it 4 the GC likes the controls and can u use the stick??? Also I wanted 2 know how much space does it take up on the memory cards... Also I wanted 2 ask... who likes my new pics I added 2 my name...

I have it for the Gamecube.
It uses the D-Pad and takes up one page on the memory card.

Thanx 4 the info all... but Draconinan Demon how does it handle on the GC is it e-z or just alittle hard due 2 the small size of the D-Pad?
and Sektor yes it is from King of Fighters, he was the boss in the 2000 version... Zero (thats his name) kicks ass...

yeah I know, but I'm thinkn' about changen' my name... so what do u guys think I should change it 2... I plan on using gifs from older games like MvC, King of Fighters, Street Fighters, older MKs... ect.

The D-Pad is very easy to use in my humble opinion. It feels very "natural" and executes very well. In fact, even if it did use the control stick, I would use the D-Pad, since it is very accurate.

Can you check the control options, coz Midway confrimed at one stage late in production that analogue would be used in an alternate control style...

No, you cannot use the control stick. Only the D-Pad.

With a normal gamecube controller playing this game is not even worth it, the D-pad sucks, I took mine back and bought for PS2 which is what i should have done in the first place

Try pressing forward, and your guy leaps forward in the air, try pressing back, and your guy leaps backwards in the air.
After a while though, you get used to it, and you can start having some fun, but it definitely takes time.

Now that I have it, it did take a little getting use 2, but its a kick ass fighter the only time I take it out of my GC is 2 school my friends in Bloody Roar: Primal Fury, and maybe a little Capcom vs SNK 2

I have it for GC, the d-pad is horrible. I got a 3rd party controller with a bigger d-pad and duck taped down the L & R buttons. It OK now, but my thumb joint hurts because of the odd angle to reach the d-pad. Sadly, GC fighter pads don't exist. And many 3rd party controllers and PS2 controller adaptors aren't compatable with MKDA.
Only get the GC version if you don't have a PS2 or XBox. It's a total pain in the ass.
