His Summon Hellfire is unblockable, it must be dodged and works well at the end of a combo.
his spear can pull people out of the air. (which is totally unfair since you have to keep moving when fighting him.)
He keeps you moving since he can attack through your blocks with the hellfire, and therefore his spear can nail you pretty easy. However, if he misses, he stands still for quite some time.
His Flame Kick or whatever it's called is not as handy, but it comes in great use at the end of a combo, sending the opponent sailing.

JCW, I agree with you on a few things. His spear does keep him standing still for a great amount of time if he misses or it's BLOCKED! The hellfire attack may not be blockable, but it's the most useless special move in the game. At least in my opinion it is for the simple fact that I've only caught the CPU with it on only the easiest level, first character. Scorpion can be used to dominate the entire game if used correctly, but then again, that statement can be made about almost anyone. Also, I totally disagree with you on the backflip kick move. I've found that move to be very useful in my matches against my hardest opponents, I haven't played a human yet, but will soon.

I played Scorpion again, and you're right. Before I was playing my brother, and it was easier to use the spear, but against the CPU on the hardest difficulty levels, it's worthless unless you time it just right. The flame kick is very useful against tough opponents, but if you're fighting a human who knows what they are doing, they'll combo you if you try to use it. So it depends on who you are playing against. Thanks for making me try it again, 'cause you were absolutely right.
