You see,some people still can't believe turkey boy has been killed off.Most people say that since Kang is the main character,that he shouldn't die.Oh,so he's the main character,big deal.It doesn't have to stay that way.
I say Kang's death is the best thing to have happened in MK!Sadly,some of my favorite characters,like Goro,Sheeva,Shao Kahn,Kabal,Sektor and Baraka all died too.But death in MK doesn't mean shit.But please,Liu Kang,stay dead!
Now,i hope Quan's ending isn't official.

Why do you care so much about Liu Kang? If you don't like him, FINISH HIM and everything is OK! My answer to this question is: I don't care if he's dead or not as long as there are new Mortal Kombat games!
Oh by the way, I voted for NO just to piss you guys off.

How is it supposed to piss me off?That's your opinion.I just posted this since some people are not happy about Kang's death.Of course,i know i can kill him in every games.That's probably a flaw about MK:DA though.I can't kick his ass with awesome characters like Li Mei,Bo Rai Cho,Hsu Hao etc.

Ok ok the last part of my post was useless. I just don't agree with the hate towards Liu Kang. Sure he's a boring fighter with an even more boring story but why do you care so much about him? I don't like Quan Chi, but I don't hate him. I just ignore him and everything is fine.

No matter how easy is Liu to use, I still can't play as him. Sometimes he was fun to play as (MK2) but after that he has gotten worse and worse, a heroin addict, then some ugly chinese girl  , with the same moves, the same boring story and the same turkey sounds. So, I'm happy he's finally dead. MK needs a new champion and a new boss too. The reason I didn't vote for "this is the best thing that ever happened to MK" is because that would be Shao Kahn's death! I don't care if everyone gets offended by this but my hate for him is so strong that I barely can say anything positive about him.
I certainly hope Quan's ending isn't official or it means the birth of a fantastic new fighter: Liu Kano  ! No, please, don't resurrect Liu. Let him rest, he has fought enough!
P.S. Unlike in the games, in the movies Liu kicks ass! He looks more like a hero and he sounds more like a human than a turkey

I don't care whether dull Lui Kang comes back or not. He's not my worst character, and he'll probably be downgraded in storyline if he did return.

i find it pretty sad some of you hate a video game character so much. i hated that liu died. i mean dang, the game doesn't feel right without him, just like mk3, don't feel right without scorpion. so are glad scorpion died. any character can be made better. lot of the new people are not that good anyway, like hsu hao (imo). so i hope liu come back.

Regardless of how anyone feels bout Liu's death, u have to give Ed Boon credit for doing something as audacious (if i mispelled that word dont point it out, i enjoy my ignorance) as killing off, what many people considered, the main character. However, people get so caught up in how muich they hated Liu Kang and is glad hes dead or is so upset that hes dead that they miss what his death does for the whole Mortal Kombat Saga. Now there is more emotional depth to the story becuase every "good" character, mainly Kung Loa, want retribution for Liu kang's death. So now they arent simply fighting for the fate of the world, theyre also on a quest for revenge as well.

Well,for you liu-kang,the lack of Liu Kang doesn't feel right.But to me,the game feel very different.And that's good.
Now,if only Capcom could kill that overrated cheap ass Ryu,that would be good.But they're too lazy to try something new.Which is why MK is better imo.

I was dissapointed about Liu Kang's death because he's one of my favorite characters, minus the damned noises. (which believe it or nt, most of my friends LIKE that crap he mumbles out because "he sounds like Bruce Lee!") But anyways, the story needed revamping, and that was a good way to do it. I could see him coimg back and trying to re-gain his title, which my make a good storyline, but I don't think he will and it doesn't bother me so much anymore. The reason Cage, Scorpion, and Reptile came back was their fans complaining so much. If Liu is to come back, it'll take a huge outcry to do it, and I doubt Liu Kang has that much pull.
I agree about Liu from the movies, though--he kicked ass!
