First it was Liu Kang, then I was like alright I dont care...but then after beating arcade with Scorpion he dies! Also Frost dies in her ending. Do you think they will bring them back...they did bring Cage back so there is a chance.

yes it does seem that scorpion is no more (DAMN U BONN!!) but FRost is merly frozen, not dead. SO she can come back if she thaws out or if Sub-Zero knows a way to reverse the freezing (which he should considering that he mastered the art). SO there is more than hope for Frost. As for Scorpion, his only purpose was to kill Quan Ji,, ans since in his ending he wasnt able to take his revenge on Quan Ji, he has to come back so he can do so. You see, there is always hope no matter how bad things may be

Johnny did NOT die,damnit!It was just part of his movie "MK:the death of Johnny Cage".He never died.But yes,death in MK doesn't mean shit.Mileena,anyone?
About those deaths,yes they do kill lot of characters.Most of my favorite characters die.Sheeva,Sektor,Kabal,Goro,Shao Kahn and Li Mei(in her ending)are all dead.Guess they just want to explain why these characters won't return.As for Scorpion,it could just be a "what if"ending.But i wouldn't really cares if he was dead.Sub-Zero and Reptile are cooler imo.
I wish Kano's ending could happen.

OK would someone PLEASE explain to me what happens in Scorpions ending? I wanna know!! Please! 
And about the endings: Scorpion, Li Mei, Sahng Tsung, Frost and others die in their endings. But they're all "What-if"-endings. There's always been a major storyline through the games and if a MK6 comes out, wel'll see whose ending was the real ending. But so far I hope Scorpion and Li Mei aren't dead cause I like them. I hope Quan Chi won't be in the next MK.

Scorpion goes into Shang Tsung's palace after Quan chi, but is spotted by Moloch and Drahmin, though he fights well, he is defeated. They cannot et him, so they throw him into Shang Tsung's Soulnado--a tornado of souls coming down from the heavens, from a portal Quan chi opened. They toss Scorpion in and it rips his hell-spawn body apart, and possibly his soul with it. (because the realm and the souls were so pure, his body couldn't survive it.

Thanks Johnny Cage. Now I know. Scorpion seems to be the forever-tortured MK-character. I hope he will return if there will be a MK6 (Boon or Tobias will find a way) and finally destroy that dumb fuck Quan Chi FOREVER!
But like we said a thousand times: "Death" doesn't mean shit in Mortal Kombat. Even Kabal could return. Yes even Sektor, who was destroyed after MK3.

Damn, usually Scorpion just gets thrown back to hell (or where ever) but this time I really feel hes not coming back...
and why dont you guys like Quan chi...He was my 2nd fave in MK4, I loved that telestomp and the fact that he killed Shinnok, and he looks even better in DA...

Sektor is mentioned in MK:DA--he wasn't killed.
If you unlock sub's alt and look at the story on the "card" it gives you in the Kharactes section, you will see that Sub-Zero won the Dragon Amulet by defeating Sektor.

just a hint....
not saying this is true...but a possibilty
scorpion has died before ....just hoping you knew that.
remember when scorpion died by subbie...then scorpion wanted his life back to revenge his death...so the deamons gave him a 2nd chance. .....i hope you guys know its a possibility that scorpion could get revived again by "his deamons" and try to revenge his death over killing moloch and dramin. but hey....who knows...he could be dead for good :\
but i hope one thing... if they revive him then i hope he comes back more powerful than ever. cause sub-zero got his amulet, shang sung got his souls, and reptile got his dragon-kingness...they should atleast hook scorpion up with some goodies

I'm pretty sure that Scorpion well be back... I mean his main mission was 2 kill the man who killed his family (Quan Chi) and he never got the chance caz of Drahmin and Moloch... He should be back if they make a new MK that is...

I don't know. I would say their favourite character is Sub Zero. They treat him better than Scorpion.
