Ok, this may be nothing but it may just as well be something! A friend of mine was searching through the pak files on a ripped copy of the PS2 version and while looking through the coding he saw on the options menu section (kontent, extras, etc...) there was something referenced to Hall Of Legends. That ring a bell with anyone? heres a screenshot.

We saw things referencing end_mokap end_blaze... Not sure if that is a reference tot he ending movie or story or a fininishing move. The file he is going through is over 400 mb's. There was 20 stages listed in it, not sure how many stages are in the game as I didn't count them all.

In the hex editor it was seperated by pages, for example on one part of the huge page it would have CharactersName_mov charactersname_com or I think it was _cob (can't really remember what that one was labeled as) but anyhow the only characters names that it showed were the 23 we know and Moloch. That leads me to believe one of two things, there's no more than the total of 24 characters in the game. There's also references to endings for all 23 characters and none for Moloch so that leads me to believe that he is not playable but I could very well be wrong as I'm just stating what I saw because I recently used a hex editor on it myself cause I was tired of asking my buddy to search on things. The second thing is, it could be very well encrypted so that it can't be read with a hex editor but I doubt that as well.
Now heres an interesting thing I've found while viewing the pss (movie files), their was a pss file named Blade1 & Blade~1 (can't remember the second videos exact name)... Anyhow this video when I converted it to AVI on my pc and played it, it was a stage I never saw, I'm not sure if it is a video from the krypt as I didn't look at all videos unlocked from the krypt but in this video the floor opened up and looked like a giant fan with 2 blades spinning, it started the view from above then the camera panned under the blades and spun and their was a tunnel leading to the outside (you can see grass and light outside). The center of the fan looked like a fighting arena but hard to tell cause it is untextured in a majority of this video (like a 3d rendering not done cause it needs to use texture files that might be textured if it was ont he game and the textures were able to be called...Not sure on it). I've never seen a stage in this game that even resembles this stage so if anyone seen all the videos from the krypt and this video is in it please post and let me know cause this has me boggled.

i beleive the video u saw is one of the videos in the krypt. I have opened up a blade render and it was very similar to the video u described
