I think that the next Mortal Kombat (if there is one and we all know that there will be) should have a kreate-a-kombatant feature. Of course this feature will allow all of us MK fans out there to create our fantasy Kombatant. Along with that, we should be able to create a faction or group they'll belong in (Lin Kieu, White Lotus, Spectre, Special Forces, etc.) and a selection of storylines that we can apply to our new created character. Along with this new feature the MK team make Mortal Kombat an X-Box live game so we can challenge each other's characters. If this were to happen, I feel that Boon and his team should let us detail every single physical attribute and every single move that the character will have. That would be a rather interesting and ambitious challenge. Though I do see custom moves idea rather difficult to implement.

They should include the Kreate aKombatant feature (Lord nows I would love to Lita) as well as a whole list of things:
1.Multiple fetalities per character
2.Stage Fetalities
3.More and better Hidden characters (Im referring to Mokap) with fetalities
4.Make it unablt to block a weapon attack unless u block with a weapon
5.All hidden characters have weapons.
6.Invovle the weapons inn the fetalities
7.Include a mini-game where, if ur a female character, u have to earn kurrency by stripping. (I doubt this wiull happen but I can dream cant I)
8.Have it so u can control how the character blocks i.e. u hold the block button then push to the right he blcks to the right, push l;eft he blocks to the left, etc. (same thing with the weapons)
9.Kreate a costume for the main and hidden characters
10.Stages with multiple stories (Like DOA 2 and 3)
11.Can knock weapon out of opponents hands.
12.If charcacter has more then one weapon u can knock one of the weapons out and he can fight with one until he picks up the one that got knocked away.
13.Ripped clothing
14.When u get impaled, u can pull out the weapon adn then use the weapon against the opponent.
15.Possibale hidden characters should be smoke, ermac, among toher ones that I cant remember.
16. Get rid of the invisablle force field around the arena, or make it an option.
17.Bigger Bouncier Boobs on the females (hehe just kidden, theyre fine as is)
18.A better grappling system, one where you cant block a through
19.Replays taht u can save and direct (like in Driver)
20.Every character can fight with every other characters weapon regardless of their standard weapon fighting style.
21.WHen you do lose your weapon, there will be objects in the arena that u can use as a weapon (Like in every Jackie CHan Movie) _________________ DO I want to kill you? No . . . . But will i? . . . . why not?

Do you and MadCat care to explain why you two think it's a bad idea? Just saying that it's a bad idea doesn't say much. Short replies I also thought weren't allowed on the board. If you have an opinion, back it up with reason(s). I also think it'd be a nice additive for the simple fact that MK can get boring after awhile. I mentioned in another thread that I still play DOA 3 after a year of playing the game, not because you can create characters (because you can't), but because they created a game that can be fun with no objective to it. Adding the "kreate-a-kharacter" feature will keep MK fans playing. Thus giving Ed Boon and his team a game with longevity. Ok sure...first, if you play any game where your able to create a character, the deatail put into them isnt very good. Ugly faces and bad clothing items. The created character would probably have one of the real MK characters moves list...which would just make it an ugly clone of the original. _________________

that is if its done poorly. There are some games that have a very immpressive create a fighter mode ( a la, WWE Smack DOwn: SHut yo Mouth). As for the moves, they can do what UFC Thorwdown did and make it kinda RPGish. Like have ur created character learn thrroughg experience instead of just giving him a move set. That way u can build up ur character bit by bit possibly creating an entirely new style based on mixtures of style already used on the game. _________________ DO I want to kill you? No . . . . That would be a kool feature 2 see in the next MK, but I don't think they would do a good job of it on the 1st go around, but the sooner they do it the better it will get faster... nice idea though... look this thread up Mr. Boon! _________________ I throw my two cents in when its needed...

I don't think it's the best idea in the world atm. Something like that would take a $*!tload of time. Also, think of the expenses? Paying ppl who are capable of doing the programing and getting it right. Geez! If it did happen to the degree that you're wishing it to, it would be a massive step in gaming history
