I agree with you Luc, sexuality SHOULD NOT be apart of a GAMING BOARD!!! We are here to talk about Mortal Kombat and Mortal Kombat Deadly Alliance, if you can't come up with anything that won't start a flame war or relevant to the game or series then DON'T POST IT AT ALL!!!

Lol,you just whine because i said Drahmin was a good fighter.Wow,how mature!So,if i understand,i am stupid for thinking Drahmin is good.Ok,i will be very honest now.
Scorpion is an overrated shit character used by losers and begginers.His spear is popular among losers who need distance to win.His sword combos are popular among losers too.
His story is so fucking repetitive.He didn't even know who killed his goddamn family until Quan Chi himself said so.Scorpion isn't very smart,is he?
And he get killed in his own ending.Ha ha!
Admit it,you just can't accept that not everyone use Scorpion.You just can't accept that some people are good with Drahmin,while you're still a begginer using Scorpion.You want everyone to think like you.When someone disagree with you,you whine.

Stryker, first you make fun about the guys who "whine" because you said that Drahmin is a good fighter, and then you bash Scorpion. That's not very smart as well.

In my own damn opinion, Drahmin is a complete waste of precious DVD storage space. Absolutely WORTHLESS. He has nothing to really show off the fighting system in the game at all. He just a power brute that must rely on the same 2 or 3 moves over and over again. Really boring.
As for Scorpion...quick show of hands here - who besides me uses him religiously and often forgets about his flipkick and hellfire? He's just got a perfect defensive and offensive balance over the combined moveset of his fighting styles to beat someone's ass with. Hell, the only time I use his spear is when I know I can get away with it. Otherwise, it leaves you wide open for counter-whoredom. If the enemy does a Neijin, oh they deserve to get gored in the chest. Other than that, with his mixing of sweeps and pop-ups, he's a menace (not to mention he can style cut through anything with that blade).
Overall, Drahmin is so limited that he'll often suffer (and suffer badly) from predictability. With only a few moves in his arsenal, all the the rest of the fighters have millions of ways to avoid & counter him. I'd wager that even an 8 year old Hsu Hao button masher would beat an experianced Drahmin user as if he were a Hitler pinata at a Massad picnic. That just a cold hard testament of just how badly disadvantaged Drahmin is.
If you like getting your ass whipped...and badly...pick Drahmin.
The CPU might show you some mercy but a human opponent simply won't.

First off, I'ma keep my cool even though you struck many nerves with your last few posts. Now just to correct you on a few things, I could care less whether you think Scorpion is a great fighter or not. I can confidently say that Scorpion is twice, hell maybe three times the fighter Drahmin will ever be. F.Y.I., I'ma grown ass man, I support my damn self and I take care of my damn self, all while attending college. So when you can finally come correct and realize who you talkin' to BOY! Then you can try and argue with me about Mortal Kombat. Anyway, Scorpion is NOT for beginners (spell it right...not, begginers). Sure his combos are easy, but for the fact that his spear is such a slow projectile that it takes a BEGINNER to get caught by it all the time (which I'm sure you do, otherwise you wouldn't complain about it). Also, it's so easy to block it's ridiculous and it leaves Scorpion open for so long that most masters of the game know better than to use that move all the time. I personally may use it once or twice during a round when I know CPU or my opponent will fall for it (usually during a taunt or neijin like PsychoSy said). Hell, it even states in his story that Scorpion fought both Drahmin AND Moloch and fought well. Of course he loses the handicap battle because of the power of TWO, not one Oni was too much. Face, Scorpion is 3 times the character Drahmin is.

So sexuality shouldnt be apart of the gaming board huh? I guess you furgot my thread about the MK DA women and who was your favorite, nobody had a problem with that, not even Madcat who claims to be a female. Now, Im not saying that taking sexuality out this message board is a bad idea but you need to be fair, all forms of sexuality needs not to be mentioned. The only reason why the sexuality thing is a big deal to everyone is becuase someone just wanted to know what guys you thought were good looking hence, people assume hes --!#$@-- (I dont know him so I dont know his sexuality preference). It is not his fualt that people called him a --!#$@-- (just quoting) among other hateful names. If anyting, you should ban people who are so immature or insecure with their own sexuality that they have to start calling names and assuming things so they can prove to themsevles that they arent homosexual.

Scorpion takes more skill then Drahmin. Drahmin relies on 3 moves. His attacks suck. Who the hell would willingly play as Drahmin? I don't know. I agree with PsychoPsy and Da_SkorpionKing....Scorpion takes a lot of skill. All of his moves except the kick leave him wide open for attack if blocked. You bitch about Scorpion becuz you are a nub button masher. And that's the only person you can use is Drahmin and you can't do the combos with Scorpion. That is the only reason you bitch about him.

If you are going to talk about skill, Scorpion is out of the picture. Im not saying that you dont have to be skilled to reach scorpion's full potential but he is not very difficult to use in my opinion. Dont get me wrong, I love playing as Scorpion, he has awsome looking combos and they are easy to pull off and his spear attack is just plain cool (grabbing people out of the air when they jump is just too cool) but characters that take skill to use and even more to master are Kitanna, Reptile, Nitara, Sub-Zero, kenshi (i am sure there are more but I would end up naming 90% of the characters hehe). All of them almost have more combos then you know what to do with and they are a little more difficult to pull off than scorpions (not to mention that all of them are slower then scorpion, I would have to say Scorpion and Blaze are tied for the quickest characters).
