Okay I know Reptile is the Dragon King but who is the Dragon King? I mean has he been in the storyline ever before? I havent heard about him. Again I know Reptile is the Dragon King but before MK DA were there anytimes where you found out what the Dragon King did in the past or why he became so powerful with monks serving him and Blaze being hypnoteised into protecting him? Please Shed some light on an unclear subject.

I am making this theory from the MK DA pat of the story, but remember that Shang Stung and Quan Ji were riasing the Dragon King's undefetable army. Maybe, once the Dragon King (Reptile) returns, so does the army return to life.

That if the Dragon King returned, his army also returned.
I hope Reptile didn't became the Dragon King ...

Alright everybody, the Dragon King was some long forgotten warrior from way back when. He had an army, that was supposedly undefeatable, an undead army. The only way they can be ressurected is by taking fighters souls and putting them in the undead bodies. That was Shang's job. Now I assume the Deadly Alliance knew nothing of the whereabouts of the Dragon King's egg, because they would have done something with it. Reptile stumbles over the holding chamber of the egg at the exact time it hatched, because remeber he was looking for Nitara or something like that. The soul of the Dragon King overtakes Reptile and he goes through yet another transformation. Now is Reptile the Dragon King? Don't know yet. Does Reptile look like a Reptile or a totally changed being, like the one in Raiden's ending? Don't know.

The large, shadowy figure in Raiden's ending is the Dragon King.

I hope he is the Dragon King, he is my favorite charachter by the way. and my thoery is that he is the Dragon King, and Radein at the end said he transformed so he will look different in the next game. And he might look alike more like a dragon, u know with wings. And i think he will be the main boss in the next game.

Maybe Reptile can now transform into the dragon king. but then again i don't know, he just sniffed out nitara and then whaddya know. He is the new dragon king.

In Kano's ending he has control of the Dragon King's arm since he got Quan Chi's amulet.
Although in Quan Chi's ending, Kano was killed and Liu Kang's sould jumped into Kano's body.
So whoever ends up in control of the army after this I have no idea but I assume Reptile regains control somehow. Maybe they'll make some spin off game before the next official one just like they did with Sub Zero?

i odnt think they will bother making anymore spinoff games for a while after special forses and mythologies as the were terrible

Thank God for that. 
Yeah Reptile as the new main boss under the name Dragon King would be pretty cool. Since you can't really unlock main bosses(unless they are already there like Quan Chi and Shang Tsung were) then maybe they could add Reptile in as a secret character so you can play as him before he was the Dragon King in the next game.
Although I'd like to see the ability to unlock all versions of Reptile to play as. No extra characters need creating programming wise as such....just maybe have them as extra costumes.
He could have:
Dragon King Outfit
MKDA Outfit
His in between retilian first transformation stage
And the green ninja stage
with all costumes being selected by choosing him with a different control pad button or something.

Well if he was made the main boss in the next game it would be something special to him for being the top guy in that particular game. Unless of course you want me to go off and come up with four costumes for each character.
