To me,Its Terminator 2.Better than the first,my ass.Arnold was better as the villain.Robert Patrick did a good job though.The first was darker,scarier,and overall better.Damn,do i miss the 80s.
Blade 2 is second.Better than the first,my ass.Better action scenes,my ass.Special effects seem to be the only thing people care about these days.And the producers were too dumb and lazy to even explain why Karen Jensen didn't return.Everything about the first one's better.
Third is Independence day.Now,that's Hollywood!Yeah,only Americans can save the world.Mars Attack was better.
Fourth is Executive Decision.Typical Hollywood shit who portrays Arabs as terrorists.
Fifth,well i ain't sure.Perhaps i'll say the new Star Trek movie.That serie is overrated,and the new movie seems to be a typical shit movie of 2002.2002 wasn't the year for movies imo.
Sixth,all Star Wars movies!They bore me to death.Perhaps the most overrated movies of all time.

You furgot to include Star Wars in your overatted list and you also got quite harsh on T2 and B2. Those are very rare sequals that are take the initial concept to the next step and execute it well. Now do not try and convince me that the reapers are the dumbest things u ever saw and that the idea of liquid metal is not only retarded but implausable. As for your theory of special effects, why else do we go to movies for. And the purpose of sequals are to execute the ideas or special effects that could not have been done at the time of the original. Dont get me wrong, although I can watch a movie that is all special effects and/or action, a good story really helps out any movie no matter what genre.

I included Star Wars.And actually,T-1000 was the only positive thing about T2.Everything else just sucked.John Connor was annoying and stupid,trying to make the Terminator a kind guy.
Nomak and the reapers were the only good new characters of Blade 2.The others just sucked.Scud was dumb,i laughed when he blew up.The vampire girl(Blade's love interest,if you prefer)was ugly and boring,and i enjoyed watching her die.Blade 2,the most overrated and overhyped movie of 2002.But then again,movies have gotten worse since 2000.

I apologise for missing Star Wars in your list of overatted movies but cmon, the action scenes in both B2 and T2 were phenomonal and worth the hype. Dont try and tell me that the predecessors had superior action scenes then the sequals. However you do have a point in T2 with trying to make a robot human which brings me tom another overhyped peice of crap A.I.

The action scenes in Blade 2 bored me.Nothing beats the awesome intro of Blade 1,with the great music,blood shower and vampire killing.Damn,i love it!
In T2,the terminator killed no one except T-1000.Stupid John Connor.And he's the guy who defeats the machines in the far future.Ha ha.But i liked the scenes involving T-1000.Like the one where he impale that fat ass guard through the head.But still,the scene in Terminator 1 where T-800 enter the nightclub,with the cool music,and is about to kill Sarah is one of the best scenes ever.And who can forget the cop killing scene!

To each his own and everything, but how can you honestly say that the action scenes bored u in B2? True, the action scenes were heavily computer aided (and in one obvious scene, all computer) but how else would you suggest they make the actors capable of superhuman feats (wires can only do so much)? And even you would have to admit that end fight scene was one of the most intense, crazy ation scenes ever filmed (do not bring up examples of better ones cuz Legend of Drunken Master is kingwhen it comes to fight scenes). I mean Blade broke the reapers arm and the reaper fixed his arm and then elbowed Blade in the head. And then theres one part where a reaper gets hit by a huge ass hammer in the head breaking its neck and it heals it self in disturbing detail. So I ask again, how could honostly say you were bored with B2's action scenes?

I liked it becuase me, being a car guy, found so many things that were wrong that it is basically a comedy to me. And some of the lines that are said are just hilarious.

Most overrated movies.
Titanic- My ex girlfriend made me watch it. God I hated this movie. Fell asleep through a lot of it.
Most Tom Cruise movies- The most overrated man in Hollywood.
East Is East- Small British "comedy" which did very well here. There were two funny scenes.
Don't Look Now- The old Donald Sutherland thriller. Hailed as a classic, it's a big pile of crap.

i know most everyone will disagree with me, but i think The Matrix is probably one of the most overrated movies of all time.
an entertaining movie? yes. a masterpiece? no.

The most overrated movie I ever saw was definitely the first Harry Potter movie (I haven't seen the second one yet and I'm not very curious of it neither). I don't say that movie sucks but I was expecting a lot more of it. It's nothing more than a simple tale; the ending, "the final battle" didn't make any sense, etc. But maybe I'm too old for such movies.

I hate homophobes.
Not sure if its overrated,but Tomb Raider sucked.Saw it last night.Horrible.Absolutely horrible.But hey,that's a movie from the 2000 years,so of course it sucks.It was pretty overhyped.
The first MK movie is overrated.It was an insult to the games.No blood and fatalities.Scorpion and Sub-Zero were just mindless slaves of Shang Tsung.I don't lke Scorpion,but he shouldn't be a mindless sheep.Goro was dumb.The only good things about the movie were Johnny Cage,Shang Tsung,the fight between Liu Kang and Reptile,that's it.Liu Kang wasn't that bad though.Bridgette Wilson sucked as Sonya.I don't understand why everyone love it,but hey we all have our opinions.
Terminator 3 looks like the overhyped movie of 2003.
