if you didnt like it then thats fine, everyone has their own tastes, but it is far from overrated, this movie has been looked forward to since the 70's when the idea of it was being thrown around, the sheer scope and cinematic quality, along with the great dialogue and well casted actors, mixed with great scenery and an awesome score cant be argued, it is fact, like i said, you might not like the movie, but is a perfectly put together movie and deserves all the hype it gets
see, i dont like titanic, but it was a visually good movie, the acting wasnt great but was tolerable, it just wasnt my cup of tea |

I don't think Scarface is complete crap, I really just think it's not as good as everyone says. I think the movie Blow is a better depiction on what both movies are about/trying to accomplish.

Blow is a good movie but comes nowhere near scarface.

in fact, scarface bombed at the box office, and it got terrible reviews for "excessive cursing and needless violence" even though by todays standards its mild, if anything its under-rated

Next person thats says Scarface is crap gets banned from this forum.
I just saw it agian on the big screen, and as always it fucking owns.

Titanic-How can you like a movie you basically know the ending to.
Lord of The Rings-FOTR and ROTK are boring while TTT was mildly interesting.

Titanic is awesome, it tells a story of something that happend back in 1916! Using modern day effects and the little sub they use to get real footage of the sunken vessel, the movie rocked.
LOTR - FOTR / ROTK were also great, true...some people think they are boaring, but they have so much story behind them they rox.
Matrix - The first one was just ok, but yeah...I aggree with you here...these movies were totaly overated.
