Tips on Getting DOUBLE Onyx and Platinum Koins:
NOTE: You need 2 controllers for this to work.
The hardest coins to attain for me were the Onyx and Platinum Koins. You either had to defeat Arcade Mode over and over again, or play against someone in Vs Mode.
But if some of you haven't caught on, there is an easier and cheaper way to get DOUBLE the amount of Koins in HALF the time! The best thing is, you don't even have to complete Arcade and/or play against another player.
--
1. Set Minigames in GAME OPTIONS to every 3 matches.
2. Create a new Profile, call it : "I SUCK"
3. Go to Arcade and/or Verses mode and make sure your 2nd player controller is plugged in.
4. Choose your characters and load your own profile and I SUCK's profile.
5. Set the handicap (X-button on the GC) on the 2nd player (I SUCK) to it's minimum 10%.
6. Wack your opponents and repeat until you get to the MiniGame.
7. Complete the minigame with 1st playler. Then complete the challenge with the 2nd character under the profile "I SUCK" See where this is going? 
8. Now both characters have amassed their respective Rewards.
9. In the next match, Wager "I SUCK"s coins and defeat 2nd player to get his coins!!!
10. Do not defeat MAX on the Minigame, so in turn, the next minigame stays at a steady constant of 400 Koins EACH! Thats 800 Koins per Minigame!

I did this for half an hour and collected over 4,000 Onyx and Platinum coins without a hitch. Good Luck

here's what i do i create a hole bunch of files i dont need then i go and play the arcade mode and beat like 3 fighters that give me enough coins to open up the coffin (fn) wich gives you 1800 jade coins then i play with my my real file and bet all of coins i just received and so on an so on

theres a more easier way than that chech this out.
make sure both contollers are plugged in and in versus mode put in both players profiles, make sure that both contain some coins, then to wager and bet like normal, after that have only player one wager press over either 1x or 5x then press up and you should hear the sound of koins being bet, close the wager tab and proceed with the fight will player one winning. Player one will win koins but player two will not lose anything. do this and you will have an unlimited amount of koins in no time.
