Post subject: Most overrated MK characters |

1)Scorpion-*yawn*well,just a novice character.His moves and especially his story are getting old.Boring fatalities.
2)Liu Kang-The Ryu of MK,aka the cheap-ass.Boring moves,fatalities,story and look.The most stale character of MK.Novice character.He finally died,at least.If only Capcom could kill off Ryu too.
3)Kitana-Another novice character with a storyline getting stale.She was only cool in MK2 imo.
4)Sonya-Another novice character with a very stale storyline.She was only cool in MK1 and 3.Her Tae Kwon Do fighting style is like the only good thing about her in MK:DA.Why such a cool fighting style is given to a boring character.I would have given it to Li Mei as a third fighting style.Not that she needs it absolutely,it would just be cool.
5)Cyrax-Again,a novice character in most games he's in.Just plain boring story.He has decent fatalities,but that's it.In MK:DA,his saw move and his fatality fits Sektor alot more.
6)Kenshi-Ermac rip-off.Sure,Ermac was a red Scorpion,but that's the only bad thing about him.Kenshi has a boring story,like Liu Kang he has no personality,and he's isn't that fun to use.His fatality is tight though.The other cool thing is the fact that he's blind.Blind people are rare in fighting games.
The only popular/novice characters i seem to like are Sub-Zero,Frost,Both Smokes,Noob Saibot and Kabal.Li Mei is easy to use,but she's underrated(for stupid reasons).Her look,moves and combos are all cool imo.

I agree w/ everything but Scorpion and Kenshi... Kenshi is a kick ass fighter and takes a little skill 2 use... Scorpion is also the same way most vets to this game (myself) know that you do not use the spear or hellfire unless you know for a fact your going to hit them with it, he also has short sweet combos, and his flip kick is gr8 4 counters...
Reptile, Shang, Sub-Zero, Kung Lao, Raiden, Johnny, Kenshi, and Quan Chi (good fighter, --!#$@-- fatality) are by far my favorites in MK:DA

Another overrated character is Kung Lao.Another stale character.Not sure if i can count him as novice.His only great fatality was the hat split in MK2.Like Kitana,Kung Lao was only cool in MK2 imo.
People love repetition,don't they?

Urgh, not THIS again...
Stryker just wants to say that he hates Scorpion. OK, that's fine, it's his opinion, but he doesn't have to open a thread for that.
It's senseless to fight about which fighter is overrated, bad or something like that since everyone has an other point of view. If you think that Scorpion is a bad fighter, that's OK but it doesn't have to be right!
It just doesn't matter after all.
And how can you say "oh my god, Kenshi is completely overrated"?? The game has only been out for a few weeks and you call him overrated? Didn't hear people say "Kenshi is the best MK fighter by far".

Overrated characters.
Scorpion and Sub Zero. Don't get mad at me, I DO like them a lot. It's just that, the way some people go on about them, you'd think no one else was worth using.

I think you guys are confusing overrated with popular...Scorpion is a just a popular character, i wouldnt go and say hes overrated...

Ok peep this, I'm probably the biggest Scorpion fan on the board. That's debatable I'm sure. But it's gotten to the point to where I'm sick of talking about him. Now we all know that Stryker is a flame starter and gets off on ppl callin' him names and flamin' him for the stupid mess he says. So I'm not gonna even go there on this thread or any other future thread for that matter. This will probably be the last I say on this topic anywhere;Scorpion is NOT overrated. It DOES take skill to be a GOOD fighter. However, Scorpion is probably the easiest character to use in MK:DA for the fact he has a quick combo fighting style (Hapkido) and a short-slow, but strong fighting style (Pi Gua). He's the most well-balanced character on the game making him probably one of the best. It doesn't take much to master him if you kno the game, I'll admit, but like I've said from the beginning......SCORPION KICKS ASS! Novice character?!? PUH-LEAZE
Question for Styker though, I notice you do make a lot of homosexual comments to get under some ppl's skin. If you're bi, why don't you at least make the same comment about women? Bis always seem to flaunt their homosexual side for some reason.

Simple.I hate straight horny guys.They're stupid and imo offending to women.I feel respect for women is important.So,i make horny --!#$@-- comments to make straight guys(mainly the horny ones)know how its like to be called hot piece of ass and whatever.

This is about the smartest thing I've ever heard you say the entire time you've been on this board. However, I respect women, I'm 100% straight, and YOU doin' what straight guys do doesn't make you any better than us. Along with that, it's disturbing to society as a whole. Hell, my girlfriend saw some of the crap you've posted about men you like on this board and thought it was VERY disturbing. Like I said though, I gotta give you props on your reasoning for ONCE, but that still doesn't make anything better.

kung loa is a good character
I don't like stryker that much he was ok and first, i don't like kai, jax, nightwolf, sindel, shoa kahn, rain,
There is nothing wrong with sub-zero and scorpion they are great characters
