How can I get the opening movie where it shows Liu Kang getting killed? Do I have to buy it in The Krypt? Or did I just do something backwards?

hmm, I have it for the Gamecube and all I do is turn the game on and wait. It will play. Just do not press any buttons or anything. Turn it on, and it shoud play after a few screens.

I know some people who have the PS2 version are having trouble with the opening intro not playing. I dont know what causes this, sorry.

The PS2 version won't play it if you have a second controller plugged in.

About the PS2 second controller, not true, I played last night and the opening movie came on and I always have 2 controllers plugged in. All you have to do is do nothing! Or if you are already playing, just hit the triangle on the character select screen to go back to the beginning, then just wait.

If you have PS2 Controller in than you can't see it.

mine always works with however many controllers plugged in
maybe disc scratched?
was gunna get in 4 gc but ps2 version looks easyier to play

the tiny D-pad on the GC can make fatalities hard to do if you have big hands ubt all in all it quite easy to play

There's nothing wrong with the PS2 version. Mine is fine whether controllers are plugged in or not. It starts up at the beginning of the game anyway.
