Ultimate MK3. MK3 wasn't good, but it got stupid when they added onto it instead of making MK4. But then again, we got one of the best MK's (MK Trilogy) out of the deal, but still--it sucked. The AI was crap and the new characters didn't add much more than a days worth of interest.

Yea, I liked them all, including MK3, but if I had to pick.....MK3 would be the least liked of em' all. The first one was the base of the series, so you can't really say it was the worst, MKII was a HUGE step up from the original. UMK3 did make it's predecessor (MKIII) a lot better. MK4 was the first 3-D Mortal Kombat and the knocking opponents into the camera was a huge additional feature. Along with that, it's the only existing MK with multiple fatalities in 3-D AND video endings, something I think they should've had in MK:DA instead of all that krypt bullcrap videos and art. Lastly, MK:DA doesn't fall under the worst simply because it's MK on the next generation systems. If MKVI adds a lot more features and keep all of the positives in MKV, Deadly Alliance will be my new choice for worst MK.

MK3 definitely, because of the bad grapghics (those awful colors) and MKT because of the AI- way too hard, at least the PC version; too many characters that have the same looks & moves  and finally, because of the "incomplete" fatalities. A headless body still standing - that was the most pathetic thing in all the MK games.

MK2. Great graphics and fatalities, but horrible unfair and bad gameplay. Kintaro and Shao Kahn are almost invincible. MK3 was better

It would have been SOOO much better is they left MK3 and UMK3 outta it all and JUST had MK Trilogy and called that MK3. Then used the money they would have wasted on MK3 and UMK3 for better things. Then the other games like MK4 and DA could hade more effort put into em. If MKDA had more characters, and the Konquest mode was totally different then MKDA would've been perfect. I saw give Boon about 2 more months and they coulda perfected MKDA. (oh and they shoulda still hade Friendships, Babyalityies, 2 Fatalities, and stage fatalities)

I would have been happy with 2 fatalities and a stage fatality(not a big fan of friendships, etc...) Maybe some brutalities...

I liked SOME friendships. cage's was cool, because it fit his character. There were other good ones, but most of them sucked. The babalities? Oh yeah, they all sucked. But still, they need a funny way to end a fight. Just make them good this time. ...and yeah, second fatalities and stage fatalities would be nice, but if I have to wait for a load, I'll be pissed and would rather just have one each.

Mortal Kombat Trilogy. Hands down.
It was shocking what they did to MK1 , MK2 + MK3 with MKT....really it makes me sad.
I dont know why MK3 was voted....MK3 was totaly awesome. UMK3 was very buggy, but a good improvement over MK3.

mk3 is an alright game, i'm not saying i hate it but, they made the characters look so --!#$@--, and some of the fatalities where the dumbest fatalities ever

I have to admit I cried when I first saw MK3. Not with joy, but with agony. Horrible AI, crappy fatalities, horrible characters, Shao Khan as repeated boss...
