Easily Sonya and Jax.
Kenshi's story is pretty boring too.The whole avenging the ancestors stuff is getting old.The only interesting thing about his story is the Ermac mention.
Third is Cyrax.He really is the most boring cyborg.Sektor is much better.
Scorpion's story,well its stale.Just a little change in his story would be fine.
Liu Kang's story was predictable and stale,but now that he's gone,he doesn't bother me anymore.
Kung Lao,well boring.
Kitana,another stale story.

I don't rate games or fighters from the storylines, but Ermac's is boring.

scorpion story is really fudged up...MK 1-2-3 it lines up..then in MK4 & MK:DA it gets boring and fudged up and seperates itself from the first three games...
ahh but back on the subject...i'd probably say Li Mei's...Always witht he savings of people and stuff like that....

Mokap  ! How come no one mentioned him?
Other boring storilines: maybe Jax, Sonya, Stryker, Kitana after MK2, Liu & Kung Lao.... But Mokap's seems to be the most boring one....wait, he doesn't even have one

I didnt mention Mokap because hes only been in one game. So besides him not having much of a stroy, with the way people dont like him, his story has no future...

Scorpion's story isn't the worst, but it needs a re-tooling. Come on, he's always after SOMEONE, and he never does anything but hunt them down. give him a break and let him do something else for a change. ...and if it took Shinnok thousands of years to escape the Netherealm--how can Scorpion do it every three seconds? ...whatever. lol, they shouldn't have to tie up everything!
I'd say Ermac.
Oh, and surprisingly, I disliked Rain, but he had a kick-ass story, one of the best.

Other than Mokap....I'd have to say Li Mei and Kenshi's story. I like em' both as characters in the game, but their storyline has to go. Bo Rai Cho doesn't look like much of a teacher either. He taught Liu Kang the bicycle kick??? Yeah right, he couldn't get his fat ass to stay in the air long enough to THINK about a bicycle kick.
BTW, I admit, being one of the biggest Scorpion fans around his story has gotten the least bit stale. He still runs the game and if he wasn't out for revenge his soul would probably be at rest. Think about it, his whole point in Mortal Kombat is to seek out revenge. He's a spectre that's the only reason he could be in the game period. He's the greatest fighter, just not the smartest. Boon and his team must've felt the same about him because he was the first confirmed character.

i am a pretty big fan of johnny cage but in the last mk. he's story line is all messed up and it says he didn't really die at all?. + his ending was pretty bad

Exactly.Johnny's death were only parts of his movie"MK:the death of Johnny Cage"in which his character was repeatedly killed and resurrected.
Jarek's story sucks,its the same as Kano.
Kai and Fujin are unoriginal.

i agree with u stryker666 on kai and fujin they are so boring. But i disagree with kano. He has an alright story. It makes no sense how he was killed by sonya but somehow returned in mkda
