I think Stryker and Nightwolf have potential as characters.Jax was a failure since he was introduced,he should have never been created.

Kano was never killed for the hundredth time. He was almost dead before someone (I think Goro) came to his rescue, took him back to Shao Kahn where he was rejuvenated to lead Shao Kahn's extermination squad.

Ok,i'll explain Kano's MK:DA story
He never died.He fought Sonya on the rooftop.She kicked him off the roof.He landed on the streets.Motaro was not far away,and saw the fight.He goes near Kano,who's almost dying.Motaro revives him with magic.They go back to Shao Kahn's palace,and Motaro throws Kano in a cage.Since Kano failed to kill Sonya,Motaro tells him he'll later feel the wrath of Kahn for his failure.
But Sheeva arrives,and kills Motaro.She's on her way to assasinate Kahn,and Kano offers his help to Sheeva,who frees him from the cage.They go to the throne room,and Kano tells Sheeva to attack Kahn while he(Kano)distract him.But Kano betrays Sheeva and tells Kahn of her assasination plot.When Sheeva attacks,Kahn shove a sword through her chest.Impressed by the fact Kano serves Kahn even under punishement,Kahn makes Kano the new general of his army to replace the slain Motaro.
That's it.Kano never died.Or,maybe,he nearly died.

I agree with Johnny. I am a big fan of scorpion, but his story is always about vengence.It's getting old.

Sonya's not bad, but her storyline hasn't really changed since MK1. And the fact that Jax's story is exactly the same makes it worse.
I'd say next game, have Mavado kill Jax and Sonya out to get the Red Dragon. Maybe (and this is a huge maybe) have her form an unholy alliance with Kano, to get Mavado.

That wasn't a huge change.He's now after Quan instead of Sub-Zero.Wow,what a change!(sarcasm)
But hey,i don't really hate Scorpion anymore.Really,he's fine.Jax is the worst.Jax is the worst character of all time.Jax is the most stale character of all time.Die Jax die!
Back to Scorpion,Classic Sub-Zero could returns to kill Scorpion for unjustly killing him.After all,it was Quan who killed Scorp's family,not Sub-Zero.Classic Sub-Zero is now a specter too,and he hunts down Scorpion.The hunter become the hunted!That would be a bigger change in Scorpion's story.
