Post subject: Why do people like Cyrax more than Sektor? |

I'm not trying to start a flame war.I would just like to know why Cyrax is the most popular cyborg.Is it because of his cheap-ass net?Because he's easy to use?Someone just give me an explaination.

Ok I noticed something about you Stryker. You seem to complain about all that characters that stun you with a particular move. Scorpion's spear and now Cyrax's net. What's wrong with those moves? Ok I haven't SEEN you post a complaint about Sub or Frost's freeze, or Kitana's Fan manuever, so why comlain about the spear and the net which are way less effective than Sub-Zero and Frost's freezes. They stun you, but they are thrown, Sub-Zero has that Ice Shaker that freezes a near by opponent and Frost's freeze is almost impossible to block. So why complain? I'm jus' curious. I don't like Cryax anymore OR less than Sektor, they both have their strong/weak points that imo make them equal. BTW, I kno' you kno' this, but they got rid of Cyrax's net in Deadly Alliance  .

Kitana's fan lift is cheap.The CPU in MK:DA use it over and over.As for Sub-Zero,well i like his character.His freeze projectile is easier to avoid than most projectiles.In MK2,the CPU always block it.Sub-Zero isn't as easy to use like most people think.In MK3,the ice shower was easily avoided.The opponent had to be very stupid in order to come near the ice clone.In MK4,Sub-Zero is horribly weak.In MK:DA,he's hard to master.That's why i never complain about Sub-Zero.He's not that easy to use.Cyrax,Scorpion and Kitana are all easy to use,which mean cheap.As for Frost,she is cheap,but her story is cool,so i don't really care.

Stryker, it seems to me like you can't accept that certain people like certain fighters you DON'T like. If someone likes Cyrax, you wonder why because you like Sektor way better. Same with Scorpion and Sub Zero. I don't want to offend you but why don't you just get along with it?
And to answer your question:
Why people could like Cyrax better than Sektor:
-They like Cyrax' moves better
-Cyrax is easier to use for them
-Yellow is their favorite color
-They hate red
-They hate bad guys (like Sektor)

reasons
1. sektor is dead
2. i don't like his moves
3. cyrax has better moves like the net and those bombs from mk3
4. cyrax actually has a good story unlike sektor
And for the final time smoke is better as a human not a robot

Sektor was a crazy, suicidal maniac. He didn't look before he leapt. I mean, maybe you can but I can't get with a character where all he wants to do is destroy everything. That's pretty lame imo. Cyrax is deadly, but in a more calculating, cold way. He doesn't just go out and destroy everything and himself while at it. You really shouldn't get mad at people 'cause they like people you don't. Like Jax, I like him, but for some reason you don't just because he has metal arms and the Investigation Agency(from the different posts I've seen). Jax is one of the toughest fighters MK has ever seen.

In MK Gold,Cyrax kills himself in his two fatalities.Sektor only destroyed himself in his MK3 ending(which didn't happen).Who had the self-destruct fatality?Cyrax.Who had the world destruction?Cyrax(in MK Gold).So,you're quite wrong when you say Sektor is the suicidal maniac.But quite frankly,do you know what the Hell you're talking about?Sektor doesn't want to destroy everything,he's a cyborg programmed to do whatever mission is given to him.In MK3,he hunted Sub-Zero down.In MK Gold,he was keeping an eye on Cyrax.If Cyrax betrayed the Lin Kuei,Sektor would have to kill him(which he did in his ending).Sektor can't have desires,he's an emotionless killing machine who do whatever he's programmed to do.
I just realised how many morons there are on those boards who don't know shit about the MK story.

That's why they said he was suicidal maniac killing machine--he's programmed to kill any/everything in his way, even if it costs him his life. That's what he does. And everyone is entitled to his/her own opinion.
I hated both of them in MK3. (& the whole series of games based on it) In Gold, I liked Sektor. In MK:DA, I really like Cyrax. So I guess you could say I don't really care either way. It's only personal opinion, man.

Looks like i made someone mad!But ok,ok,no Cyrax is NOT easy to use.In MK:DA i mean.But still,he's not worth being mastered.I can't stand Star Wars or in case you don't understand,the stupid lightsaber.The lightsaber has got to be the lamest weapon to ever be put in MK.But since you want to hear this so bad:Cyrax is not for beginners.He is the hardest character to master in the serie,and makes Drahmin looks like a fighter for beginners.Happy now?
