Ther are many resons Why this movie sucked. Warrnt tough if your a big MK fan you'll probly still buy it and have it in you video library. But let's just talk about why it sucked.
Bad FX.
Horrid acting. (specilay by Talsa soto god who told that bitch she can act(who ever it was should be shot) and the way she talks likr to put you to sleep.
Plus changing the actors for Raiden, Somya and Johnny Cage as well has having a Orintal girl that can't act as Jade who should be played by a black actor. Like N'Bush Wright or Iman.
Not to metion the change in director and writers.for ex: one was writen by Kevin Droney and directed by Paul Anderson and two was writen by Lawrence, Josha Wexler & Jhon Tobias and directed by John R. Leonetti.

It was because Stryker and Kabal was mentioned in it but it didnt show them.....but i think the movie didnt suck......

Yes the movie was good enogh for the hardcore MK fan(like me) But had many many problems.
And i woulda liked to see Kabal but Stryker was not very imagintive(sp?).

It sucked for the reasons both WraithZombieMan and Scorpion-Fan said.But it also sucked because there was no blood,gore and fatalities.The MKA producers showed no love or respect for the games.

I think the biggest problem in MK 2 Movie was the fact that there were so many damn characters, just a lot of fighting, and the story was too fast for the regular Joe to understand and actually grasp.
Part 2 should have been violent, had a deeper storyline, and a more leaner roster.
By the way, The Leonetti dude.....he was the man responsible for Lighting in MK1....don't know how the hell he became director...

The reason why it sucked is because it didnt follow the storyline of MK2 the game! If it did, it would of been a bigger hit than the first one.
