i don't think reptile is the dragon king (no i don't mean i haven't seen his ending with the egg and all).My reason is because in his endind it does not say that reptile is the dragon king it just says that the dragon king has returned which means that the dragon embryo has a mind of it's own and has taken over reptile's mind and transformed his body into it's own body and if you don't believe me unlock raiden's ending and you'll see the dragon king in the background with reptile's transformed body holding a staff like thing.

that would make sense, the embryo having a mind of its own and all, but why would it wait for reptile before it decides to do something? If it could have simply taken over any body of which it chooses, why wouldn have taken over blaze who is guarding the egg containing the embryo? And considering that Reptile is costantly changing form anyway, how do you know that he wouldnt have changed into the what he looked like in the statue anyway? Or, how do you know that the statue is not the former Dragon King? Basically all that we can assume is that Reptile is the new Dragon King based on his ending in which the egg embryo went into his body, possibly taking over his body and mind, turning him into the Dragon king.

Maybe Reptile's body was the best suted for it or somthing.
