Hey guys. I know you all disrespect MK5.org, blah-blah-blah ... But, there is no smoke without fire, is it? So, let me comment on the latest roumour, in case you haven't heard it:
Microsoft MIGHT buy Midway and make MK games X-Box exclusive. For me - that would be outstanding news. Microsoft can give Ed Boon the much needed time and support to make a flawless game AND, not being multiplatform, it will be even more superior. Then all VF and Tekken lovers will scream in pain, the clever ones will get an X-Box. 
So, all proud comrade owners of an X-Box - cross your fingers, we might be getting a very tasty game in the future.

I'll tell you why: game quality had to be sacrifised in order to be playable on all 3 consoles. That means that X-Box had to lower itself to the level of the other two. The game could have come out a lot better had it been an X-Box exclusive. I'm not arrogant, just admit that technologically speaking X-Box is way more powerful than the other two.
I know, all you, non-X-Box-owners feel bad about it, I sure would. I also know that many people dislike Microsoft for no apparent reason.
As for VF and Tekken - simple - I don't like them (and yes, I have played them).
As to WHY should it be X-Box exclusive - no reason, if Microsoft buys it - it will be, that simple ... I'll be happy, as I'm sure many other X-Box owners. It will be a good thing for Midway and Ed Boon too, by the way.
And there will be one less reason in favor of buying GC too ...

I agree with you on the fact that the game's quality had to be sacrificed to be playable on the other two consoles. However, I think it wouldn't be fair to those who has "baby hands" and can't play with the X-Box controller. Along with those that just don't want an X-Box. I admit though if it happened I'd love it, but Midway and Ed Boon and his team would suffer from that kind of move. The game wouldn't sell that well being on one console that many people chose not to like. DOA 3 was X-Box exclusive and the only thing that makes Deadly Alliance a better game was the fatalities and the weapon's stance. Other than that, DOA 3 thrashes Deadly Alliance in EVERYthing else.

Graphics matter, but Gameplay matters more, and in that category, XBox's Deadly Alliance is equal to it's counterparts Nintendo and Sony.

Well duh! I don't think either of us are saying that quality is judged on graphics alone, at least I'm not. However, the gameplay altogether could've been better if it the game was X-Box exclusive or if they would've given the X-Box version it's own engine and time quality.

Equal but not better is it? And if say you improve graphics, sound and everything else, then you get an overall better game, don't you? Besides, it is equal because it was MADE to be equal, not because it cannot be better - it sure can.
I don't know, the standard controller on X-Box is large but it doesn't feel uncomfortable with me, just unusual. I've heard that the S-Controller is nice.
As for the people that JUST don't like it ... they are really stupid, they reject a great deal of joy for some weird principles. I know why I don't like GC very much for example - it's games line-up doesnt convince me at all, that's it.
What I say, is that with proper amount of support (both in time and in money), Ed Boon could make a piece of art on X-Box with a MK game, why not? And Microsoft is quite powerful to give that support. And it would be a symbiosis - Boon dedicates himself entirely to the game of his life making it as perfect as could be and Microsoft gets a best-seller that will close the gap between PS2 and X-Box. Of ALL fighting games that exist, MK is the most suitable one to make a best-seller, I think, other games are time-passers (IMO as always).
One last thing: people, think again about your life. Why don't you like the X-Box? Is it because the "bad guy Bill Gates" runs the show there? Is it because of "evil" Microsoft? Is it because everyone in your college says it is BAAAAAD and you don't want to look stupid buying it? I tell you, X-Box is a very nice piece of machinery with bright future. You must care about yourself first, you can get plenty of fun playing X-Box games, don't be childish ...

MK always has and always will be (or always has to  ) be on multiple consoles.
