BS, the only good-looking RE on GC was the remake of the RE1, then the RE0 was OK but worse. The remakes of 2 and 3 were complete crap. Yeah, like RE is feeling right on GC ... RE started with PSX and should go with it all the way.
Parents buy a GC for small kids (up to 13 years for example) -> Parents buy games like Mario and Zelda for their kids -> Parents would most certainly avoid a game like RE.
PS2 is bought by everyone, both kids and grown-ups. RE would go fine with it.
X-Box is usually bought by more adult people (with exceptions ofcourse). I know few people whose children have an X-Box and plenty 17+ who have it. And RE is definitely NOT for kids.

Your right about the first one, but RE zero had better graphics than the remake! Now wait until RE4 comes out, that will have better graphics than both of the previous ones before it! But the 2nd and 3rd were not a remake...they were straight ports from ps1.
I'm 20 not thirteen, and i have a gamecube...so that makes your little theory about parents buting it for their kids...not true. There are plenty of people buying it for themselves. RE did start out on PS, but it's even better on Gamecube! Your exactly right, RE is not for younger people so that means that gamecube is not just for kids...thats just ignorant man!! Realise...this is not a flaming...simply debating! _________________ Im Back B)

Sure man, I'm do my best to stay polite and just talk about it rather than trash.
You can't really know if RE on GC is better than it would have been on PS2. To my knowledge only RE: Code Veronica - a port from Dreamcast was released on PS2, so you can't really discuss this. I doubt that the GC versions have something that PS2 wouldn't handle.
If you're twenty and have a GC then there are more theories on my mind:
1) You loved Nintendo consoles when you were a kid, so you've decided to stick to them, just out of tradition.
2) You didn't wish to pay that little extra to get any of the other two.
3) You just like the lighthearted games which are designed primarily for the kids. Which is not bad at all, it's just your taste.
You must admit that RE on GC is more of an exception than a rule ...

Your right about me growing up with nintendo...thats the main reason why i bought gamecube! I also have PS2, and plan on getting x-box very soon! But, i am more into the gory games, I love blood and gore...in movies and in games, but there are other non-mature games that are also fun! I know i cant really know for sure, i know it would of been tight on PS2...but it gets a major graphics upgrade on gamecube. _________________ Im Back B)

You search for gore and blood, then PS2 is the way to go actually. X-Box also gets some "mature" titles. I also enjoy lighthearted games if they're well crafted. I liked Jak and Daxter pretty much for instance.

Yeah, shinobi was o.k.! I played it at a friends house...i got really annoyed by that damn time limit thing (with the health bar), you gotta keep on getting souls to stay alive! The movie were tight though! _________________ Im Back B)

Yes there was a time limit on MM. But it had so much background to it. Like you could go in people houses do chores for them find hidden stuff. Wind Waker was well. _________________ ** formily known as Blackened **

X-Box and Gamecube are nearly neck and neck with specs.
X-Box does some things better, GameCube does some things better.
And Microsoft won't nurture the company at all.
All they care about is money.
Though I would like them to enrich the Cube and box versions or dump the PS2 market.
I doubt they would give us tag team kombat while they still need to put the game out for an archaic 2 controler system.
