Post subject: Good vs. Evil |

AM i the only one getting tired of these good vs. evil movies? I mean take any movie and it comes down to establishing the good and establidhing the evil and then the good usually wins. Even with these so called bad guys vs. bad guys, Payback, Get Carter etc,, the writer and director go way out of the way to make these characters likable and the characters hes killing are very unlikeable and the only people this "bad guy" kills is other bad guys. I would like to see a movie where its evil vs. evil, so to speak (yes I am aware about Freddy vs. Jason but that is not what i am talking about). I would like to see a movie where the hero bad guy has no problem with killing innocents and is actually more vicious and brutal then the people trying to kill him or the people that hes goin after.

I like movies with endings where the main character dies, or the movie ends at a sad note...American History X, American Beauty, Unbreakable, Fight Club are all examples...

I agree with this topic.One of my favorite heroes is Spawn.Why?Because he's very ruthless,and kill the baddies.He's so much better than wussy heroes like Superman.I like ruthless good guys.
Sorry if it has nothing to do with the topic,but the Terminator in T2 was actually vicious.Well,until wussy John Connor came and told how wrong it was to kill people.Is connor too dumb to understand that the T-800 is a machine,not a wussy human?I hate when they make ruthless cyborgs good and kind.

Spawn the animated series was awesome...blood, cussing, nudity way better than the movie...
But I liked the way the Violater looked in the movie way more...

Yeah,the animated Spawn serie rocked.I want a fourth season so bad!

Yes I have, awsome car chase and Chow Yun Fat is always awsome. But there is till a good vs. evil regardless if both main characters turned the other way and took bribes and good did previal becuase Marky Mark killed all the henchamn and arrested the man behind the scenes as well. What helped in that movie is the bad guys during the car chase just unloaded an entire uzi clip into traffic killing who knows how many innocent people.

Yeah me to like Punisher, Ghost Rider(although he didn't kill he just did that penace stare thing make his victums feel the pain they inflict on others). Morbius and Blade among others.
