I didn't really like the "Animality" situation.
They performed good fatalities and all, but... It's quite impossible for a human being to literally transform into a species of animal.
It didn't make sence at all.
It was good when specters or demons did animalities because it suited their "mystical" personality more.
But living humans.... Nope!
The only 2 humans that the "Animality" transformation suited were NightWolf
( Wolf ) and for some reason, Lui Kang ( Dragon ).
No one else!
But the fatalities and brutalities are hella cool!      :mrgreen:

Sure,animalities didn't make sense.But most of the fatalities doesn't make sense either.How can you decapitate someone with your fist(Johnny)or rip an heart with an hand(Kano),rip an head with your hand(Sub-Zero) or rip arms with your arms(Jax).Mk has never been realist.It is,and always was,surrealist.If its possible to rip a skeleton with your hand in real life,then show me.
I'm probably one of the few to like animalities.I guess its because i got a sense of humor.Reptile's animality was one of my favorites.A reptile morphing into a monkey.LOL.And the opponent running away for some reason.

Is it possible to steal someones soul?
Is it possible to be four-armed?
is it possible to..........EAT SHORTS!
Of course not!
MK is supposed to be a fantasy!
So they could turn into animals fantasy!
Animorphs and Bloody Roar got there idea fom MK I think...

Geez, you don't have to go off at me.
I understand all that, I'm not stupid! Mortal Kombat fatalities, brutalities and animalities- most of them don't make sence at all as a matter of fact.
But I like it like that.
I love fatalities! I simply said I 'don't' like animalities.
Everyone is entitled to their own opinion, okay?
I love watching A Demon Claw rising out of the depths of hell and constricting you so tight that you'r head pops off, I love watching someone suck their opponent into their mouths and spit them out revealing bones and ash. I love fatalities and I love Mortal Kombat!

That is also very interesting! Cyrokenesis is probably Sub-Zero's elemental power that he possesses, other than Lin Kuei powers.

I think only certain characters should be able to turn into animals for fatalities. The ones that would make sense like Scorpion turning into a Scorpion (too obvious I know), or maybe Reptile as a giant cobra or something. But a lot of MK3 animalities made no sense at all, remember Stryker's T rex one? Or Johnny Cage as a Kangaroo? What were they all about.

I mean, in the last mk game.. turning to an animal was like so lame... I have to admit they did a little transforming in mk 4 well it was one of Scorpion's finishing moves which truely was awsome.. but um.. I could never figure out why they would put such a stuip thing like turning to an animal... and the one that mad me mad was when they has Scorpion out of all people as a piguine and lays a egg right up under you then it explodes.. man that sucks badly.. but if that was to be apart of MKDA I would not buy the game... thats jus me I dont know about the rest of you guys here...

Not buying the game because of animalities!?Hey,if they were in the game,they would just be an option.You wouldn't need to do them if you didn't want to.No offence,but you reminded me of these people from mk5.org who said they wouldn't buy the game if Sheeva was in it.Which is lame imo.
I actually liked Scorpion's penguin animality.Lol.But my favorite is still Reptile's monkey.
