"Sektor was the first of the three prototype cybernetic ninjas built by the Lin Kuei (unit LK-9T9). Sektor was once a human assassin trained by the Lin Kuei. He volunteered for automation because of his loyalty to the clan. Sektor survived the Outworld invasion as he had no soul to take. He failed to eliminate Sub-Zero, but was sent on a new mission after the defeat of Shao Kahn. His Lin Kuei masters, suspicious of Cyrax, sent him to find the other cyborg and destroy him. Sektor failed to do this and, with the return of the renegade Sub-Zero, fought the warrior to decide who the new Lin Kuei Grandmaster would be. Sektor lost both the fight and his life."
Anyone know if this is fully accurate?

The first part is all correct, and Sektor being sent after Cyrax sounds more than likely. Far as I know though, his death has never been confirmed, so he may be still out there.

I don't remember Sektor ever being killed... in the fight w/ Sub-0 he was only defeated, thats what it said on Konquest in MK:DA right?

OK, this is quoting a MK3 Guide that reavealed the endings for the characters.
Sektor: "After eventually terminating Sub-Zero, Sektor is attacked by Shao Kahn's army. Unfamiliar with the Outworld warriors, Sektor fights back. He targets Kahn and all Outworld beings as threats to the Lin Kuei. Kahn's Minions are no match for Sektor who fights his way into the fortress. Once inside he initiates his self destruct sequence. The resulting explosion is so massive that it closes the portal and returns Earth back to normal."
So according to this, he is dead. And being that he hasn't been in any other games besides the MK3 series, I would have to assume that it's accurate.

Sektor's MK3 ending was just a "what if".He was in MK Gold as a secret character.
Since we're speaking of cyborgs here,well Cyrax sucks.Just felt like saying it.

By the way Stryker: Since we're speaking of cyborgs, what do you think of Cyrax? 
I think it's very good that the three cyborgs went three VERY different ways after MK3. Sektor stayed evil, Cyrax turned into a good guy and joined the Special Forces, Smoke...well we don't know that much about him, but if he returns in MK6 he will sure be a good guy allied with Sub Zero, but still in his cyborg body.
Oh, and on more thing for Stryker666: I know that you hate characters with stale and boring storylines....you have to admit that Cyrax made some DRASTIC changes, while Sektors story is always search and destroy. Come on, Stryker, that's at least one point for Cyrax!!

Sektor's story is a little stale,i agree.But his ruthless attitude and brutal fatalities are what make him cool.Cyrax's fatalities(except the MK:DA one)were never as hardcore as Sektor's.Sure,he chop people up in MK3/UMK3/MKT,but the way he do it is so silly.I used to like the self-destruct,but now it's just stupid.But at least it allows me to watch Cyrax dies over and over.
About Smoke,if he returns,he needs to be a ruthless good guy.There are too many good hearted good guys already.

Different storylines are possible, because you never know which endings really happened. Here is the sektor storyline I posted on my site, his full storyline, I hope that my storylines are as accurate as possible, though you'll never know with the MK stories. Let me know if you see an error!
Sektor is actually the codename for unit LK-9T9. He was the first of three prototype cybernetic ninja's built by the lin kuei. Sektor was once a human assassin trained by the Lin Kuei. He volunteered for automation because of his loyalty for the clan. he becomes a deadly cybernetic assassin, which his onetime fellow-assassin sub-zero refused to be. The Lin Kuei could not tolerate this, and they send Sektor and Sub-Zero's onetime friend Smoke, which is also automated to go after his life. After Shao Kahn's invasion they begin their mission. When they finally face Sub-Zero, a battle to death would begin. But Smoke refuses to harm his friends and turns against the Lin Kuei by helping Sub-Zero defeating his enemy Sektor. Sektor can't compete against the power of the two friends and after a short battle he's destroyed by Sub-Zero.
And it's also true that after this fight, Sub-Zero would become the Lin Kuei grandmaster, but I don't think this was a fight about who'd be the grandmaster since that would be weird...

I think Sektor was defeated,not killed.Besides,death in MK doesn't mean shit.Just like Overtkill in Spawn,Sektor can be remade into an even more powerful killing machine.The ancient Lin Kuei master may still be alive.He'll remake Sektor,so the new Lin Kuei can be destroyed.Just a theory.
