Since street fighter and mortal kombat analition were both proabably the worst fighting games turned into a movie, I decided to make a poll to prove which is the most suckiest movie.

I liked MK:A better than Street Fighter! Jean-Claude van Damme is a good actor, but he just didn't fit the part of Col. Guile! Whereas in MK:A most of the characters fitted the part perfectly!
(eg. Robin Shou(liu Kang), Talisa Soto(Kitana), etc.) But I don't really think that Sandra Hess OR Bridgette Wilson fitted the part of Sonya!
(AND KYLIE MINOGUE, what the hell was she doing playing Cammy?!)

I can not believe that street fighter is winning the poll. I thought mk.A was one of the most pathetic movies made, It was so pathetic i even started crying when I watched it.

I watched Street Fighter and laughed myself stupid it was definitely worse than MKA.
Even MKA had some good parts in it Street Fighter only had Jean-Claude Van Damme

Or secret option #3: Double Dragon, unquestionably the worst movie ever made based on a beat 'em up! And DD5 was a one on one fighting game, so it works.
Ugh.
But if I have to pick between SF and MK, I'm going to say that Annihilation was the worse of the two. See, while Street Fighter was a horrible movie as well, at least you knew who all the characters were. You never once had someone jump into the fray, throw a few kicks, and then disappear without an explanation.
In Annihilation you would never guess who Mileena was unless you played the games. Same with Noob Saibot (assuming that was Noob Saibot), the trio of Baraka type mutants, Cyrax, and Smoke among others.
Also, as bad as SF was, at least it had a fairly consistent plot that flowed well enough. I'm sure there were a few plot holes here and there, but nothing horribly blatant.
The entirety of Annihilation, from the first scene to the last, was one giant plot hole. It was swiss cheese mountain!
* For starters, Cage has his glasses back despite Goro having crushed them in MK1, Sonya's wearing a completely different costume than she was at the end of MK1, as is Liu Kang, yet they went to the trouble of getting Kitana her original costume from the first movie back. Of course, that's just nitpicking. Let's get to some really good plot holes.
* In MK1, Sonya sneaks aboard Shang Tsung's boat while Jax watches. She suddenly goes missing and no one is able to contact her. As a concerned partner, responsible for the whereabouts of everyone on your team, do you:
A. Hijack the nearest boat and go after her.
B. Contact HQ as quickly as possible and try to track her.
C. Send out a search party as soon as possible to locate her and Kano.
D. Go to a research facility on the other side of the planet, get drugged up, and strap big, metal arms onto yourself.
* Of course, nothing's really consistent from MK1 to Annihilation, so what we need here is a plot hole contained in Annihilation itself. Here's one: Rayden claims that the Outworld warriors working for Shao Khan are required to wear a family tattoo that allows them passage into Earth realm until the merger is complete. Yet Kitana does not have such a tattoo. Furthermore, Cyrax was born and raised in Earth realm. Why should he have to wear the tattoo?
Answer: PLOT HOLE!
And there you have it. Both movies suck and I wouldn't especially reccomend watching them, but SF, in my opinion, is only marginally less of a suckfest than Annihilation.

If you hate the movie so bad(MK:A) e-mail mortalkombat.com so their third movie won't be even worse. Just plainly tell them the movies sucked so they can make the next movie kick ass, and they can revive MK throughout the nation. Better special effects, better actors(Christopher Lambert was good, Linden Ashby)and get a better fucking storyline. Don't make up your own, they should go by the video games. Enough said.

Why waste my time when our wallets spoke loud and clear during Annihilation's theatrical run? Yes, Annihilation opened as the number one movie of that particular weeked, but that's only because everyone loved the first movie and expected the second one to be just as excellent.
Word of mouth spread like wild-fire and by the next weekend Annihilation had completely dropped off the charts. Even Ed Boon and John Tobias commented that they hate the film so much that they refuse to acknowledge it and are ashamed of how it turned out.

That wasn't Noob Saibot in Annihalation. Ermac is all of the dead souls of Outworld warriors so an outworld warrior came out of him and fought with him.
