The street fighter movie was shit but it had intense action.MK:A had too many characters,many disappear for no reason(Nightwolf,Sub-Zero,Scorpion),2 were mentioned and never showed up(Stryker and Kabal) and many of them died so quickly(too many to list).Characters like Kintaro,Sektor and Khameleon were missing.
Worst of all,Jade was asian!Were they too lazy to find a black woman or are they color blind?
Jax was stupid,i wish the real Jax would rip the imposter's arms.
Shao Kahn was pathetic.Poor Brian Thompson,he was good in X-files as the bounty hunter,but this movie ruined him.
The fights were shit,oh and Hell,everything was shit!MK:A sucks!

Yeah, I agree about the characters leaving for no reason. Scorpion was there and left and Sub-Zero just dissappeared.
I also agree about the Jax thing- I forget where it was, but I said a lot of stuff how I liked the MKone Jax better (in the brief moment he was in the movie).
I also agree about Kahn- I never really invisioned Kahn's personality to be so weird... I didn't like him at all.
Also, Rain just died at the begining, that was pretty retarded. And they should have done more than mention Kabal and Stryker.

NOT!!! That was a lame-ass movie... I tried to watch the whole thing, but just couldn't. I like that ER chick who played Chun-Li, that's about it... seemed like the entire movie was duct-taped together... It was just cheezy I'm sorry. I liked the game a whole lot, but the movie adaptation just didn't cut it!!!
MKA I liked... I even got that on DVD [wait, is that lame?]. Well, at least I can say that's better than the 1st MK movie. That was a joke. The fight scenes were half-baked. I was really into the game at the time, but was thoroughly disappointed. I think MKA was just a fun movie if, and only IF, you're a MK fan. Who doesn't like to see their fave MK characters in action... HI-YAH!!! <--that's a judo chop!

AHH! I hope your joking. MKA was awful while MK wasn't that bad. MKA almost made me cry. I am such a big MK fan and I see this crap with a Shao Khan who is scarred of his father, characters appearing on the screen for 5 seconds and others appearing without any explanation, stupid tatoo crap. It was like they just decided to throw a bunch of MK characters into the movie thinking that they don't need to develope characters at all. I would have liked to have seen the story between Sub-Zero and Smoke grow, but what do you know? Smoke and Cyrax appear as cyber ninjas without any explanation.

I know I know... but just the fact that you get to see most of the characters in MK:A made me happy... and the fight sequence between Jax/Sonya & Cyrax wasn't too bad... I dunno, it was just a good thing to see most of the characters come alive... the storyline's dumb, I agree.

Other bad things about MK:A
1)The Quan Chi ending was cut.But Quan Chi probably looked awful anyway.
2)The Kabal and Stryker scene was also cut.But i don't think anything special happened.Here's three things i think may have happened in that scene
Kabal and Stryker escaped
Kabal and Stryker became slaves for Kahn
Kabal and Stryker were kicking butt before they got defeated by Rain.Stryker probably didn't use his weapons,and Kabal probably didn't use his powers and hook swords.
I always though Jade was killed because Kabal and Stryker escaped.But who know and who care,MK:A is awful and full of plot holes.
