Don't get your hopes up about MK3. Atleast wait til Corona or UpcomingMovies.com starts talking about it.
I remember seeing a pic of either a Japanese/Chinese cover version of MKA. On the front it had all the characters including Quan Chi! It seems they forgot to take him off the cover even though he wasn't in the movie.

It was at Total MK. Chi is in the middle, its a VCD cover.

MK:A Just sucked total ass, really, it's really awfull, I seriously think that Double Dragon was better...

When I saw DD, I was pretty little, and I LOVED it! Now, when I watch it, I'm like,.......man, it isn't so good..... but it's still better than Street Fighter. MK:A.....well, I like it 'cause I like MK. The fights were amazing. That's all I like, though. The plot and everything sucked. Which is a shame, because (the game) Mortal Kombat 3 could've been turned into a really deep movie. They should've focused on MK3, and not UMK3 or MKT. I would've liked more characters, but honestly, they should've cut some (even our favs, sorry to say.....) so that the plot would've been better.

Both Double-Dragon and StreetFighter were really bad movies!
Mortal Kombat Annihilation was much better than both of them. MKA wasn't that bad, actually.
I liked it. I even have it on DVD. I liked it because I like Mortal Kombat and everything to do with it.
StreetFighter created a really bad charactar plot, I noticed that from the beginning! Although Ryu and Ken should have been main charactars, (in which they are in the game by the way ) they were not.
Instead, Guile was.
The anime movie of StreetFighter was even better than this. It concentrated more on main charactars and supreme action sequences.
The real-life one did not even find the right charactars to play the role.
Mortal Kombat will always rule over StreetFighter

No, that's Street Fighter's versatility showing. You may not remember this, but when SF2 first hit arcades Guile was *THE MAN*. Go take a look at all the old SF2 ads that were running back in 92-93. Guile was all over the place while Ryu got only minimal publicity compared. In the arcades and at the SF tournaments Guile was a death machine in the hands of a skilled player. In fact, many of the tournament winners used Guile for their finishing character.
The point being that Street Fighter never had their story wrapped up so tightly that there was no question who the champion was. In Mortal Kombat it's been Liu Kang since day one. In Street Fighter it really could have been anyone. Even E. Honda!
Although, I will admit that some of their casting choices were... well... perhaps not the best in the world. Jean Claude Van Damme as Guile? This is a classic case of the producers going for star power and using Van Damme's name to draw in a larger audience. Not a bad move from a marketing standpoint, but the accent didn't help his portrayal of Guile any.
But damn if DeeJay wasn't the coolest character in that movie! He didn't have a single fight, wasn't the star, but he's better than every character in both SF and MKA!!!

Street Fighter SUCKED. It SUCKED with every single second. The jokes were dumb, the fight scenes bad and the storyline of the movie was completely different to the storyline of the game. (Chun Li a reporter? sure.) And the worst was: The looks were bad. Ok, Vega and Zangief looked original, but the rest was bad. Ken, Balrog, Guile, DeeJay, Dhalsim (especially Dhalsim) and Cammy looked bad. And what's the deal with Kylie Minouge as Cammy. Cammy is ought to be a beautiful character. Kylie is not beautiful (In my opinion). Street Fighter was the worst movie ever made.
