By the way, I have a question, too:
Do the unlocked and secret characters appear on the select screen anyway? I haven't got my MKDA copy yet, but I've read a lot of FAQs and they were like: "To play as Cyrax, highlight blablablah and press down+start...." .
Sounds like they are not on the select screen???

They are in the select screen, only faded when they are not unlocked

Blaze and mokap are the only characters that dont show up on the character selection screen.

You earn koins for the koffins by beating people in arcade mode, beating missions in konquest and winning test your might and test your sight.

Actually there is no way to lose the koins unless of course you spend them, or u wager them in a battle against a friend.
