In the second movie Ermac fights against Sonya.
In the fight he 'releases' a black warrior ...
Is he suppost to be Noob Saibot ?
Or someone else ?

Yes its Noob Saibot, the actor is credited in the credits as 'Noob Saibot'

Because the movie screwed up the MK storyline. The first one did, too, but they only changed it as much as they had to. The second one wasn't even close, except for Liu fighting Shao Kahn.

The first movie was good. The only bad thing was Scorpion and Sub Zero being controlled by Shang Tsung.

You have to understand that the movies and the games follow different storylines. If they were the same, it would be very confusing. It was very lame in Annihilation when Noob Saibot came out of Ermac. I thought that was one of the many flaws of the movie.

I haven't seen Annihalation. I've only seen the first one. I'll have to rent it this weekend. Is it better than the first one?

Annihilation is only good for the soundtrack, and some of the fights are cool--but the movie blows. As soon as you plug it in, you 'll see what I mean.

yeah, MKA sucked. Only certain things were OK. I liked the Smoke vs Liu fight but Sub was a piece of crap for ending it.
Anyone here hope the third MK movie is made as the official sequal to MK1 movie?
I wouldn't mind that. But I hope they get the people who made MK1 to do it. I bought that cartoon movie "Mortal Kombat The Journey Begins" movies a loong time ago and watch it every now and then for kicks and to see the making of Mortal Kombat the movie. If you watch it, you'll know why the first MK movie totally ruled the second one.

I would. Although it wasn't a very good movie, it still had some cool things. And it would be stupid to just neglect the second one, they're not going to do that.
