I think Cage used to be great, but his story has dulled. He does basically the same thing every game. Now I'm not saying he is the only one (Scorp and Raiden are 2 more.) But Scorp is a MK Icon, and Raiden has to lead the charge. And therefore, no Cage in my storyline.

My story would be that NONE OF THE NEW CHARACTERS from part 3 be added to the next game to me all the new characters from that game were horrible addiotions with the exceptions of cyrax, and sector. Anyways what I would add to the story is to kill off either sonya, Jax and Kano so that drama is over and dead with it has become stale, and add another member from sonyas and jaxs team, and add the boss of kanos clan to start a new war. Also have the sub zero from part one return in this upcoming game to have a final fight between scorpion.

Ok well the Sub-Zero thing is kinda like a famliy busness. The first was the one seen in conqest. We never see 2, 3 or 4 . The one from the first two games and the move was the 5th. He was killed by Kui Kang and then his brother took up the mantle. Also he decided to be good and left the Lin Kuei. Witch is why he didn't wear a mask in 3. Somhow he now as become grandmaster of the same clan.
And the guy above that said he tought that The boss of Kano's clan should be in the next game. Well thats not happening cause Kano was the boss of his clan.

sup this is devin and here are my story ideas
STORY(MAY SOUND CHEESY)
(RAIDEN SPEAKING)
"EARTHREALM IS IN GRAVE DANGER. MANY NEW THREATS HAVE ARISEN. THE DRAGON KING HAS AWOKEN IN THE BODY OF REPTILE. WHILE THIS HAPPENED, SHANG TSUNG SECRETLY ORDERED THE ONI DEMONS KNOWN AS MOLOCH AND DRAHMIN TO KILL QUAN CHI IN HIS INNER SANCTUM. QUAN CHI AND DRAHMIN BOTH FELL INTO THE INNER SANCTUM. DRAHMIN WAS MORE POWERFUL THAN QUAN CHI AND WAS ABLE TO OVERPOWER QUAN CHI'S ESSENCE. DRAHMIN WAS RESTORED TO HIS HUMAN FORM AND WAS GIVEN NEW SORCEROR POWERS, BUT HIS MIND WAS NOW SHARED WITH QUAN CHI. QUAN CHI ALLIGNED WITH DRAHMIN AND PLANNED TO GET REVENGE FOR QUAN CHI'S SAKE. THEIR FIRST ATTACK WAS ON SHANG TSUNG AND MOLOCH. TSUNG AND MOLOCH HAD TRIED TO KILL QUAN CHI. WITH DRAHMIN'S BRUTE STREGNTH, THEY OVERPOWERED THEM. THEY THEN TRAVELED TO MEET THE DRAGON KING AND GIVE HIM CONTROL OF THE ARMY, FOR HE COULD ONLY TRLY CONTROL THIS POWER. AS A SHOW OF GOOD FAITH, DRAHMIN(OR QUAN CHI) OPENED THE PORTAL TO THE NETHEREALM AND BROUGHT FORTH A LEGION OF ONI. OF THE DEMONS WERE SHAO KAHN AND SHINNOK. THEY WERE CHOSEN TO BECOME AN ELITE POWER TO CONQUER EARTHREALM. BUT MOST THREATNING ABOVE ALL WAS THE RESURRECTION OF LIU KANG WITH ONE EXCEPTION. HIS SOUL WAS TAINTED. A SORCEROR ONI NAMED LEAPOR WAS ONCE A SERVANT OF THE DRAGON KING AND WAS HAPPY TO HELP. WITH A SPELL, HE TOOK THE SOUL OF LIU KANG AND TAINTED IT PURE EVIL. THE THREAT OF EVIL NEVER HAS BEEN SO GREAT. WE ALL ARE IN DANGER IF WE ARE NOT ABLE TO CONQUER THIS THREAT TO EARTHREALM."

also for storylines
kano was murdered by sonya but kano was brought back by the oni sorceror leapor. The only way he was able to stay alive was with cybernetic implannts. he was given half a cyborg head(not like cyrax's head but like terminator), a robotic arm, and a steel structure skeleton.
Kano still had a mind of his own though. He plegded allegiance to the dragon king, but still thirst for revenge. As a form of retalliation, kano murdered two of sonya's closest friend in a surprise attack, Jax and Johnny cage . Sonya had already lost a member of the special forces, kenshi, for he was revealed to be ermac. after ermac/kenshi's revenge on shang tsung, he alligned with the Dragon king. Sonya was going to have to fight along the side of cyrax and seek revenge on kano.

I RETHOUGHT MY FIRST STORYLINE. HAVE SHINNOK AND SHAO KAHN JUST ESCAPE INSTEAD OF THEM BEING ONI DEMONS.
